its very curious the mix of english, native vocable and spanish (like in names and last names) in the philipinse language

colonized by the spaniards (thus many of us are mestizas)& occupied by the americans. our culture is also heavily influenced by the chinese. some dialects are similar to bahasa w/c isn't surprising bcoz early philippine settlers were from the malaysian peninsula.
