  • THAT'S WHAT YOU WAR PROTESTORS SAID DURING THE IRAQ WAR. YOU SAID WE CAN NEVER WIN IN IRAQ. "IRAQ WAR IS LOST"...IN THE END WE WON IRAQ WAR!!! THE TROOP SURGE WORKED!! NOW IT'S HAPPENING ALL OVER AGAIN IN AFGHANISTAN. AGAIN, WE WILL FIND A WAY TO WIN EVENTUALLY. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE U.S. MILITARY!!

  • U.S. is making progress, Progress in getting their ass' kicked more and more each year.

  • Why is Petraeus being promoted to CIA chief? This guy sucks. Couldn't get the job done in Iraq or Afganistan.

  • @theautomaster petreaus won the war in iraq. the troop surge worked. dumfuck

  • @judgerofwars The "surge" did not work you little piece of shit. So we have spent $3 trillion without much to show for. Fuck you

  • Spin against spin! Both sides are making me dizzy.

  • We KNOW this, We READ this and We HEAR this. But yet keep believing their lies... and do nothing about it. LETS PROTEST!!!!

  • We prolly gotta nuke them to end this war, the Taliban hate us so bad it would just be smart to stay there instead of them coming over here.

  • @sammo240b Where would you drop nukes? They live in the mountains stretching across the entire border area between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Nukes will do nothing but wipe out small villages killing civilians and bringing intense International condemnation. Then the whole Afghan populace would turn on us.

  • @sammo240b I agree I wish they would nuke the them. The people who complain about the war just dont realise that all these islamic extremists hate all the people in the west so it is best we get stuck in and kill them all off before they get to the USA as immigrants and start up cells at our home country, beware!!!

  • BORN FREE

One Nation under God above, the land of peace and liberty,

I give my thanks to Our God of Love that I was born free.

Children of the open skies who run and play in the bright of day

will someday come to realize the glory of our freedom way.

We speak our truth in honest words without it being locked away,

and making sure our truth is heard, we vote to see its gentle sway.

  • Indivisible we are, yet individuals we be.

As one and all we travel far on chosen paths we each can see.

Sometimes we have to fight and win in wars that take us far afield.

Some call war glory, some call it sin. Some say we need to keep this shield.

Some say that peace is freedom's gift. Whatever war we've lost or won,

the bondage of war must always lift so freedom's price can be paid and done.

  • Some say that war is freedom's cost. God granted us our liberty,

and no one wishes to be lost God's greatest gift to humanity.

    I say,

One Nation under God above, the land of peace and liberty,

I give my thanks to Our God of Love that I was born free.

  • @pacolo1990 Two illegal wars? You call yourself an American? or you just think this is some type of xbox war video game. By enlisting yourself, you clearly says you "Support Bush" and today, you're saying you "Support Obama"; LoL, I can't believe Obama lied to everyone.

  • Ron Paul is a very smart and true American, I just saw him on the new a few days ago.

  • I was in the Army, the when I found out all of the top Generals including Petraeus attend the treasonous Bilderberg group meetings I did not reenlist. The US Army is being lead by traitors from the top down, Petraeus is the biggest one of them all. Why should I waste my time fighting a war on terror when our own military has already sold us out to the real enemy: the Bilderberg Group and the NWO.

  • Look, not saying that this war is just or called for or anything... but a 10 year war and only a couple thousand casualties? C'mon, it's a war. Let's not sugar coat it or say that it's a peace mission or whatever spin Washington has put on this to keep up moral... this is a WAR. The point of war is domination by any means necessary. You don't like it, hold your congressmen responsible and vote them out.

  • @swordnheart OMG, you idiot LoL, who cares about the 1000 army casualties... NOT THE US government... its the poor families who are lied too. But even if you put the cost and casualties side by side, which one do you think the US government cares about? its the money.

On top of that, the money lost in the war as effected EVERYONE! in and outside of the country.....We are sinking. Do you know why the Titanic took 1-2 hrs to sink? because they were so big. We are just a billion times bigger .

  • Respond to this video... What lies are you talking about? You're the idiot. There isn't any conscription service, these people signed up to take up arms and kill people. That's what armies DO. They're families knew that when the stupid shits went off to boot camp. OF COURSE the government doesn't care about casualties, if they did they'd become Marines, not politicians.

The economy is fine. I don't live in the US and now my money goes a lot further when I go home (^_^)

  • @swordnheart Regarding the troops...first this is an illegal war, do you allow or enjoy killing innocent people? are you sure your an American? Dont even say some stupid like we are fighting for our freedom, LoLOLOL do you actually think a cave man can take away your freedom LoLOLoL.

About the tax credit, dude if everyone pays and takes no refund and no credits, it wouldn't change our eco a tiny bit, We have spend so much money. Out told people 5 yrs ago about the eco, I was 100% correct.

  • @cube12083 What lies are you talking about? You're the idiot. There isn't any conscription service, these people signed up to take up arms and kill people. That's what armies DO. They're families knew that when the boot lickers went off to boot camp. OF COURSE the government doesn't care about casualties, if they did they'd become Marines, not politicians.

The economy is a mess because the government keeps spending and giving tax cuts during a war. Can't do both at the same time!

  • @swordnheart LoL Dude are you not going to use your tiny brain of yours? even before the war we were what you called "Boring Money From The Future" aka money machine in obama office making money... sometimes they like to say we bore money from other countries, which is a lie; no country will let us bore money.

  • I'm amazing as to how the media pays only focuses on the deaths of military soldiers...but there are no reliable counts on civilians.

Why don't they show the pictures of civilians killed? Isn't an Afghan life equal to that of an American life?

  • LYING SCUMBAG FUCKS. The PENTA-CON is at war to make money for all the Corporations like GE & Raytheon that THRIVE ON WAR.-so that they can have a cushy job when they retire from the military or just get paid under the table from these Demonic Corporations. May they all burn in hell.

  • i want the americans and their allies to stay in afghanistan till the death

untill they suffer in lives and resources. that is tactical plan for the taliban

the taliban wants to go to war

the taliban has only 3 choices

    they fight till death

    they fight till victory

if they retreat and turn their back they will never be forgiven and they are cursed by Allah

  • Great video. History is always a good antidote to lies and deception.

  • General Betray-Us is another aptly named character in the Neo-con book of spin

Bernie Madoff, burned many and made off with billions, he was the one arrested to prove that there is no longer corruption on Wall street

Neil Cashkarry was appointed by BushII to KNEEL to the banks and CARRY the cash to their vaults (He was appointed as the overseer of TARP money dist to Banks)

There are too many amazing names in this drama to cite here

Just know that the show goes on the same if we sit and shut up

  • yep i agree with all of u and "Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires"

  • I hope to see more light shined on the 'outsourced' mercenary force - Blackwater. These forces outnumber military troops, cost 4X as much and work in the shadows without oversight.

  • what happens if coalition forces pull out of Afghanistan 1. Al Qaida's image is bolstered by their perceived victory and their ranks multiply. 2. The War won't be over, our troops have gone home, and the battlefield has shifted once again to only being on U.S soil.

  • I do not agree with the "it's not worth the cost". That is the wrong argument. The right thing to say is "war is wrong"! It is morally wrong to invade other countries - even if it pays off hundredfold. War should never be a profit calculation.

  • @hawkeye59.

Hard to know... Maybe he´s too much of a dreamer and has found out that politics is not for dreamers... It´s really hard stuff!! Thanks for your reply..

  • What do you mean by progress...If you mean to split Afghanistan wide open for the corporate disaster capitalists to feed off of ever sector and sell off all their assets then I see what you mean. Haven't the war whores made enough money yet? Oh, it is never enough for you c*cks#ckers.

  • "A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

    - Major General Smedley Butler ("War Is A Racket")

  • @Tressco You are so right..it seems that not enough people know that war is only for profit to the elite that run our government...and to the ignorant people...turn off fox news and go read a book ....maybe Shock Doctrine to start.

  • Oil & opium. . .

What is the US military doing in a land that did NOT attack us?

The Taliban is NOT Afghanistan, and chasing them through the hills that they practically own, certainly isn't worth the massive civilian fatalities that our clumsy efforts have caused.

  • The best way to support our troops is to BRING THEM HOME NOW! It's a grim joke to pretend that the 10th year of the war, hundreds more dead troops, thousands more wounded, and billion$ more wasted will benefit anyone except the billionaire war profiteers. Another grim joke is to pretend that corruption of the Obama's puppet government is any greater than that of the US government & its contractors.

  • ALL LYING SCUMBAGS-WE ARE LOSING EVERYTHING IN BOTH COUTRIES U ASSHOLE MURDERING LIARS.

THEY R JUST THERE FOR THE OIL & OPIUM. S.S.D.D.

  • I'm having a Vietnam flashback. I wasn't there, I was just a kid at the time. But hasn't the war in Afghanistan turned into the same quagmire? While Pres Obama is no Nixon (and I thank God for that, think about how much worse things would be) it is high time for him to bring our guys home.

  • Never ask a military men how the war is going. They will always put a positive spin on it because that is all they know. Job security.

  • I actually think this was the first honest discussion I've hears. We can get caught up in polls, winning, losing, costs and should address all of those issues but need to really consider what all of that means and thought this interview addressed that.

  • REGARDLESS of the motives that brought you there in the first place. leaving disorderly would be tragic for the civilian population and would give the terrorist networks a major media victory and a safehaven for decades to come, which WILL be used against the US. This is a matter of ethics and responsibility towards the civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan, just as it is a matter of national security. Why so keen on undermining the last chance you have of actually winning this thing?

  • @XMaster4000

"which WILL be used against the US..."

That's the same thing some people were saying in Vietnam war.

Did N. Vietnam or any communist country tried to attack US after the fall?

  • @XMaster4000

Please tell us all where you picked up this bizarre concept of "winning" an occupation. Maybe then you can receive treatment for this disease and get well.

  • @XMaster4000

"Winning" is a meaningless word in this case. The situation in Afghanistan requires a non-military solution. The army is causing more problems than it is solving, since there is no "winning" a military occupation.

The US has no clearly defined objective other than remaining there (as targets and sitting ducks), in a land where it does not belong.

  • This is not a war, it's an occupation. Why are we wasting lives and money trying to turn this country into a mini-America? It never will be.

We're told it's to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a safe haven for Al Qaeda, but if Al Qaeda isn't there, then where are they? If there is a danger of them returning, then that means they are still out there somewhere. But we're not where Al Qaeda is, we're in Afghanistan preventing to prevent them from coming back. This is ridiculous.

  • @hawkeye59 ,

I agree 100% with you!!! It´s not only ridiculous, it´s a shame!!! Do they think we´re all dumb and that they can keep on telling us plain lies without us realizing that? I´m Brazilian, but as much I cheered for Obama, I´m disappointed in some of his policies... Sometimes I think he´s just afraid of not pleasing those who oppose him!! He need to have more guts!!

  • @Morningstar5br

Obama apparently doesn't choose to show any guts - he seemed progressive, but either he is under threats or he just isn't interested in actually moving forward.

  • I agree with this movement, but it is important to protest U.S. imperialism entirely. That means, protesting the Iraq occupation as well. There is no "right" war. People in the US must try to see imperialism from the eyes of the exploited. That means empathizing entirely with the populations of Afghanistan and Iraq, employing solidarity, and letting the voices of the people speak. Civilian deaths in these countries must be the priority. They are the ones suffering U.S. terrorism, not us.

  • @elprincipitooooo Absolutely. you might be interested in our prior video on the Sangin civilian casualties incident.

  • @elprincipitooooo very well said, thanks for speaking my thoughts :) i hate USA, because i always think that what kind of people r Americans that think it is right to war. But i m happy that there are people like u also which can see the real picture.

  • @elprincipitooooo i just want to say that we are suffering US terrorism and u Americans are also suffering US Economic terrorism. search what it is :)

  • What "progress" can be made by killing innocent people?

  • Ron Paul said it right: "We marched in we can just march out". All these illegal/immoral wars are based on lies. All to benefit the military/industrial complex and Wall St. war mongers.

  • @ronheri Amen.

  • I thought the suggested questions for the message writing campaign missed the boat. All of the listed things mean progress to him, but they don't to us. So, I had to come up with my own question. I thought I'd share it here:

"You recently stated we're making progress in Afghanistan. Does this mean you consider the huge increase in violence, civilian killings and growth in the insurgency progress? If this is the case, shouldn't we reevaluate what we consider progress?"

  • @Nightrelic I'm glad you shared it! I'll pass it along to our Facebook group too, if you don't mind.
