I usually check the title first -if it's too long I might not click it, short titles are better- then the thumbnail, that just depends on why I'm on Youtube at the time... then it's how long the video is, if it's longer than 4 minutes I usually pass because I don't want to stay on too long -unless I know the youtuber and they're awesome. Usually the title needs to be witty. I despise all caps on titles and exclamation marks everywhere. I do think the thumbnail makes a big difference but unfortunately I don't have the greatest equipment so that probably works against me :/. And still being fairly new at this I'm still given appalling thumbnails for my vids when I'm mid-blink etc. so I'll check out videos even if the thumbnail isn't great.

When I click on videos... I like the titles to be professional-looking and nice. No foul words, not whole sentences, correct spelling. Professional. Then I know the people who made the video took the time to do it right. As for thumbnails, I like to see a nice HD image. I mean, I know. That's kinda ridiculous because it's a thumbnail.
