  • Thank you for this video being a 2x Marine Mom this means alot.

  • My mom hates the army. She insults me saying that if I join I will be the laughing stock in the family. She says the army is for people with not future. She tries to compare me to other students around me, saying why can't I be like them. She says to get out of the house if I enlist.

I keep my head up and surpress my tears. This is all I wanted to do since a child, not be a doctor nor a lawyer. To be a soldier is my dream, and to not follow that dream would make my life meaningless.

  • *tears in eyes.... I miss my son so much he is in the army and in Afghanistan and I am proud of him... pray daily for not only his but all the men and women serving for us.... LOVE always.. brad... mom

  • I'M AN ARMY MOM, MY SWEET KYLE~~ I MISS YOU SO THIS SONG, AND SO MANY OTHERS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES...... GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS!! THEY ARE THE TRUE HEROS

  • HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY Hooah !!!!

  • To all the military moms who lost children to Osama bin Laden's 9/11/01 attacks on America or to the resulting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, President Obama got Osama! Now, to prevent needless heartache for other American moms, we need to bring our forces home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Getting Osama was the mission! President Obama = Mission Accomplished!

  • another PROUD MILITARY NAVY MOM HERE AND OH MY LORD THIS IS BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD <3 YOU AND BL;ESS YOU

  • OORAHHH!!!!! Semper fi!!!!

  • Very beautiful. CYU does a song called, " Starlight Star So Bright " and it touches me as well. Thank you for this beautiful piece.

  • I needed this today. My son is getting married soon and I feel like I've been put in the background. Not by him but by others. Thank you for this. I've seen your other works. You do beautiful work. I love my Airman. We moms have a hard job too. Thank you so much.

  • I'm in the Army and I showed this to my mom. Needless to say she cried. I laughed at her, not because I thought it was funny, but because I made a bet with myself that she was going to have that exact reaction. Thank God For U.S. Soldiers.

  • @trevorhirby You are so right!! Thank God for you honey!! God Bless and stay safe!

  • Thank you so much for Thinking of the Military Mom...I have a Son on Active Duty...Go Navy.

  • Thank you...sometimes, even with all the wonderful sites and people doing things like this....you, still like the lone ranger....but, when you are a MOM, with a soldier...no one can possibly ever feel as torn in two...by being sooo very proud, yet....you to grab them and protect them! So with tears a gushing, thank you...mom of another hero in Afghaniston!!!

  • Our son is in the Navy...very proud of him, as well as the other young people we know who are currently serving or have served! God Bless America, God Bless our military, God Bless their families! Karen

  • I am a military Mom, and this video brought tears to my eyes. I know the pride that I feel because my son is willing to serve his country. I know the anguish that I felt each time that he deploys into the war zone. I know the total exhilaration that I feel each time that he returns home.

  • What an excellent tribute, your thoughtfulness to make this is very touching and will continue to bless many, thank you!

  • that was the day I pinned my son's Airborne wings on (@2:12)! Thanks for including us in this wonderful tribute. Ladies, we rocked their cradles -- now they rock the world!! hooah!

  • 3 more months, and then this daily gutwrenching fear will be gone. just 3 more months and my son will be home. please god, safe & sound. Being a mom of a deployed soldier is impossible to describe. The pride and the fear are overwhelming. It's a beautiful video, and it's nice to have tears of happiness for a change! Thank you for thinking of us.

  • My tears are flowing like waterfalls right now. My son is a Seabee and will deploy in 3 weeks to Afghanistan. I am so PROUD of my sailor and proud to be a Military Mom (Navy Momma)!

    GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

  • tankercavmom thank you for your sacrafice those who wait behind serve in a different way iam in the Army reserves early enlistment and i no when i leave it will break my moms heart. and no your son is a hero i wish him the best of luck HOOAH

  • I am crying my eyes out. My son, Army Cpt., just returned from his 1st tour to Iraq, he got hurt and wouldn't let his wife tell me. He will be ok, but that doesn't make it any easier. When he would call home I tried to laugh and tell him crazy stories and as soon as I hung up i would cry my eyes out. Thank you to all the Moms who make this sacrifice and to those who have lost a child, may God give you peace.

  • This is a beautiful tribute!

  • Being an Army mom of Two soldiers makes me proud and nervous. I pray daily that my sons will come home just the way they left. My thoughts and prayers are with all of our soldiers deployed around the world and away from their familys. As for this video.... it's great. Non-military families need to understand how hard it is on the families of those left at home to wait and wonder. Thanks for the video.

  • @medicsmomhooah Thank you...sometimes, even with all the wonderful sites and people doing things like this....you, still feel like the lone ranger....but, when you are a MOM, with a soldier...no one can possibly ever feel as torn in two...by being sooo very proud, yet....you want to grab them and protect them! So with tears a gushing, thank you...mom of another hero in Afghaniston!!!

    -Proud Navy Mom

  • This is beautiful. Thank you. My son leaves for Iraq May 2nd and I am terrified and proud at the same time.

  • my son leaves tomorrow for FT. Sill OK basic training Army can take pics like those also

  • WHAT SONG IS THIS?

  • I meant to text witht the above video. My daughter ( and daughters aren't as honored as son's-just not as many) just returned frim 15 months in IRAQ. This song is soooo perfect, because she drove trucks and got hit by an IED on those "long roads". So this is a great tribute so I thought I might share a tributr my dayghter, an Army Specialist, was honored as a hero. THANK YOU!

  • Please pass the tissues.......God bless

  • watching with tears, this was beautiful,

from a proud army mom of a son deployed in Iraq

  • I just returned from Iraq in May, I served 10 months in Iraq my mission was to resupply forces in Iraq / Kuwait zone. I volunteered to go and would do it again. I am currently serving in 29th Infantry Div VANG I know I would have not been able to keep my spirits up if it was not for my wife and prayers of everyone back home.

  • Very moving and sentimental. I am proud of you and all military moms -- and our sons and daughters.

  • hope that my son will grow up brave and strong, just like yours did...

  • this video is very moving, My son is in the army, and I am a very proud mom as you know..

  • wow that was REALLY NICE~5*s

  • thanks for the video and thanks to all of the military mom's.

  • thanks for the video, my son is coastguard, an often overlooked branch of the military that is so important for our homeland security.

  • You obviously have alot to learn. How dare you post a comment like this when it is the our very same Military that fought for your freedom and you ability to be an American. Take your trash talk and ridiculous opinions somewhere else.

  • @missnicole97801 Tell them!! I'm sick of trash talk. Unnecessary. If you don't like something, just move on. Ugh!

  • What a jerk you are...that word isn't strong enough, but American definitely isn't appopriate.Noone's 'boys'went to Iraq to kill innocent people...what an idiot you are!

  • How dare you to insult the soliders who fight to keep you free....Who don't mean to kill innocent ppl. Who would like to see there familys again....Who fight for your life not just theres...You have no respect for soliders at all. Only if you knew how much some of the soliders give up to keep you free. All these mothers want is to see there kids again. So whats wrong with that nothing.

  • coward. you are too weak to be a solider. In fact, you probably didn't get accepted into the military and are upset about it. The military takes only the strong, those with courage and strength and pride. Your comment makes me want to join the military so I can practice shooting my m-16...if you know what I mean. Go crawl back under your rock.

  • what an idiot you are, bet you would not have the guts to say that to a soldiers face, you make me sick.

  • Funny that you should mention that. Sometimes I like to go out looking for Soldiers returning from Iraq. And well ...they really don't have much left to lose anyhow..........

  • If you truly are an AMERICAN, you would not have those IRAQ videos under your favorites. You would not have spoken those ignorant uneducated sentiments. May you reap what you sow, there is a special place in hell for you. But before that, since you don't like our Country, don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

  • This is My Country and you are the weak scum that kiss Buch's Ass. I am what you and those like you have sown you inbreed hick. I fight to defend the weak and protect the innocent. You ,well the World knows what your kind do to little 14yo Iraqi Girls.

  • you are suck an ass. have some respect

if i knew who you were i'd probly bury you 6 feet under

  • Keep talking sweet pants and you'll bore me to death. Be sides , I am not some 14 yo little Iraqi girl you and your Buddies can Rape and Hang so I guess your pretty much fucked....

  • My son is my hero. 2nd time is Iraq.Proud mom of a Army soldier.

  • Beautiful video. I'm so proud of my Navy son, he is definetly my Hero!

  • cried through the whole video, have a son in iraq and i cry every night about it but very proud of him

  • Beautiful! We Mom's really are very proud of your sons or daughters in the military.

  • Thank you for this beautiful tribute to the Military Mom. I weathered my son's first 3 deployments to the Persian Gulf alone. Now I have the Blue Star Mothers to lean on and this has made me stronger. This video has helped me show my son how his deployments affect me and all other mothers. As he prepares to leave for his 4th deployment to the Gulf watching your video has helped me cope. Again thank you for such understanding.

  • I think this is beautiful and thank you for doing it, I am a military Mom who lost her son on 9/11, the tears really came when I saw the military members with their babies, Matt was my only child so I will never see him hold a grandchild for me

  • God Bless you Lisa Peterson and your awesome son.

  • Beautiful... but you know, not all military mom's have sons, some have daughters.

  • Thank you so much - as a military Mom - you captured it all - through my tears I see my own son in all of these pictures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • Our son Adam is on his 3rd tour(Navy) and my husband is a Marine thank you......

  • That was just so beautiful and emotional! Thank you so much for doing this. I'm an Army wife, but my husband wouldn't be who and what he is today, or the man I love, without the proud Military Mom standing there beside us. God bless.

  • Thank you Missnicole. My son will be deployed to Iraq in November and I haven't quit crying since he told me. I needed a video like this. Sometimes I wonder if anyone understands what a Mom feels when she sees her baby go off to war. God bless you for remembering us.

  • Thank you so much. Like those before me I can hardly see through my tears. My Navy son is my hero.

  • I am still crying. That was beautiful, thank you for sharing that. From a proud navy mom

  • As a military mom, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Hard to see through the tears here...your piece is so beautiful!

    Thank you!

  • You're very welcome...you are just as important as the military wives, but I hardly ever see recognition for your tough job....THANK YOU!
