You can't compare the two. Alaska isnt marketed as a low cost carrier. Annd don't compare the fleet, they are the same, except for the 734 which only makes up a small percentage of operations.

I am on Westjet's side. They have funny flight attendents and are Canadian like me. They also have inflight entertainment systems!!!!

Im sorry, But I am on westjets side here. NOT ONLY do they have PTVs on leather seats, they also have a more modern fleet than alaska. this means that their fleet is more FE, and the ticket prices are lower. the staff are (from my experience) more friendly, and the last bonus: they are canadian, and so am I!!!

i'm a fan of Alaska Airlines, mostly because i fly out of SeaTac so they have an abundance of routes out of here :-) Never flew WestJet before, was in Calgary recently and saw they had a big presence there. After seeing this video, i think i will have to check them out next time i fly north.

@101MineCraft101 Maby if you knew anything about alaska airlines you would see that the airline was founded in 1932 and west jet in 1996. Any airline that has been around for 75 years is bound to have some incidences... Also alaska airlines also has a bigger fleet, and don't mention that alaska airlines is cheaper and has better service...

Westjet never had any emergencies and alaska had one. Westjet also has SUPER friendly flight attendants. Also your own personal TV. But although i dont like the seats in westjet. and in alaska theyre SO-SO and idk but that hamburger looks rly....... EXPENSIVE. Althought westjet has a smaller fleet IM GOING WITH WESTJET.
