to produce electricity ever heard of someone using a wind up clock mechanism to turn a generator . i wind up my alarm clock only once a day and it makes more sense than those stupid hand cranks on radios and flashlights that you have to constantly crank? how bout a wind up electrical space heater or coffee pot for emergency power outages no one seems to have ever thought of this
Sounds like a great idea in theory, but as the load increases the amount of work needed to power it will also increase. For example winding something that will power a heater will keep you winding constantly and you will be working hard.
Free energy has been here for a while ,But the coverup is very strong,Get a motor that works with the power of magnets only at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!
I managed to control a stepper motor with a microcontroller, but the motor itself beacme inredibly hot over time. Wouldn't that be dangerous for the wooden parts?
A continuously moving geared A/C motor might be a nice variation instead of a stepper motor: smooth and continuous motion and unparalleled accuracy, since the power grid is VERY accurately 60Hz.
is this an actual song playing at the beginning and end? or is that some synthesized music he made? If anyone knows the song that would be so awesome.
cool

very cool! would have something other than 9 sec period. 5 stars!

It could be easily set to any multiple of 9 seconds. Or with a bit more effort any multiple of 2.25 seconds.
