A person's cultural practices are determined by the country in which he is born, his religion, his income level, his level of education, and many other environmental and non-environmental factors.
For example. I am American born, white (and race does play a part in a person's cultural practices), born in Illinois (I have lived in Alabama and I assure they have a somewhat different culture then we in Illinois do) former Christian, convert to Islam, high school grad, low-income, disabled.
