  • @jamess0456 I'm not sure what program/software you use, but you are able to sample and assign any samples/sounds into your midi controller (Akai MPD16) through FL Studio using FL Studio's FPC feature. So the answer to your question is yes...you are able to sample with the Akai MPD16.

  • How did you assign the buttons on the MPD16 to produce music and not just drum patterns? I'm looking in to buying one but i don't want just a midi controller that can only make drum sounds, so i take it by the video that it is possible to sample with this machine?
