dear brothers and sisters, do not let shaitaan catch you in his net so that on judgment day you are deprived of the prophets shafa'at. The prophet has taught us that Allah has 99 names and how excellent they are. How can you try to compare the prophet with Allah?How can you try to put 99 names with the prophet when he himself did not teach the best creatures on earth after the prophets (the sahaaba) that he has 99 names.

@ibnBaniAdam, yeah you are right bro, but these are the attributes and not names... its Allah who posses 99 names, but i guess it is not a bida to say the names of prophet but actually just the titles or attributes given to the prophet.
