No FX at all. I'm straight into a Peavey XXX head, Laney 4x12 cabinet. The XXX's third channel has a really sweet tight bottom end to it when cranked. No farts!!
The song is in drop C I believe.
The guitar I'm (still) borrowing from my brother has a miserable time with keeping strings in tune, I may just replace them with higher grade stuff soon.
Not turning the gain knob to 10 is a good thing too. I have it at about 4, channel volume @ about 7, treble 7, mids 1, bass 10.
