I never heard the Bill Clinton one until today. It was really good, we were in a pretty bad recession in 92 and we were in pretty heavy debt after 12 years of trickle down economics and our nation was divided after the early race riots. He wasn't the best president but at least he kept the economy in order and we had respect on the international stage.

How was Carter supposed to control what went on in Iran? Even then, the prices are higher now with inflation calculated in (your calculation was basically incorrect). And with the energy problem, Carter tried to help by encouraging people to conserve energy. Bush does nothing to raise awareness over global warming.

No, prices are still lower now. It did get really close, though. My $6 figure was incorrect; I don't even know where I read that. But anyway, when you take into account that the average car in 1981 got about 15 mpg(at best), we're still paying about 1/2 the price per mile. We also have remarkably low inflation and interest rates, while Carter had the record highest for both by a long shot. BTW, I am not a Bush supporter.
