This maybe a stupid question but is it possible to use methanol on stock engines w/ just bolt-ons? If so are there and bad side-effects?

@Mulletboi86 - This was on a stock engine, however the car needs to be tuned by us afterwards to remap the fueling and ignition timing tables.

as some1 that has raced cars for some years now, including awd cars, doing simulated 1/4 mile dyno runs in my mind is just theory crafting, on a real road/track u have alot of variables to account for i.e. track temp humidity ambient temp asphault friction coeficient and i know that drum is not covered in black top, but i do like your car althought i am more of a wrx man my self and have an 86 OOOO 5ktq with 365 built hp

nice video man ok so you have the meth kit and its a stage 4 do you knw what the cc/min or per min the kit is running, also how much boost and what are the other mods done to the car . i have an evo 9 MR with tbe, mbc, intake, and cobbaccessport i want to do a meth kit jus dont knw what stage or nozzles to buy thanks

how much would it coast abou tto put a stock evo 8 or 9 from 270 hp to 400 hp... or make it an ? or make it an 11 sec car 1/4 mile? cuz i am intrested in buying one

The drum roll weight is 2152.52lbs, the car weighs 3300lbs and the eddy brake (the bump on the dyno near the rear tire puts the additional load on the rollers to achieve the same load on the wheels as if the vehicle was on the road.

So to answer your question, its the same as launching on the street as the dyno puts the same calculated load on the rollers.

Technology. Its what $80,000.00 can buy you these days. ;)

Is that safe to do on a dyno? Launching that is, since it takes a lot to get that drum rolling.
