  • i remember that show.

  • I remember the ep where they were supposed to do a time capsule and all ended up burying Holly's shoes instead of thier own posessions. lol

  • Im 28 i always tried to remember the name of this

  • I used to wait all year long for the Christmas episode of this show.

  • Gloria = Liza Minnelli, Iggy = Rick Moranis, Jacob = David Shwimmer like the top comment says!

  • Awww This put the biggest smile on my face... I used to watch this when I was little and have been searching for the show forever... This brings back so many good memories....

  • Yo whats the episode where Iggy smokes crack rock and totally withdrawals from the group and alienates himself and everybody turns on him until the end of the episode and he finally gets help at rehab? cant find it

  • @MassTransit999 It's called Iggy Pop

  • 280 episodes? Wow. I want them all back!

  • OMG! i LOVED this show growing up! i TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT!

  • Oh My God . . . someone just mentioned this title and I had to look it up. I used to watch this all the time, but all I could remember were bits and pieces. Like Gloria, because she was the girl and therefore my favorite. I also remember Holly's mom having a hearing aid and Holly pronouncing 'again' like 'a-gAin'. As if 'to gain some weight'. It's weird what you remember.

  • i miss being 5 when kids tv shows were good i feel bad for my son who is now 5 and mot of the kids shows are such crap

  • i have been thinking of this show for years and couldnt remember the name of it until i watched a remember the 90s video and wow it brought back memories i wish it was still on for my kids to watch

  • there's an extended version that kinda breaks into a do-do-do jazz song, i need to find that!!

  • I used to LOVE this show as a child! OMG! Brings back wonderful memories. I didn't even know you could still find "Under the Umbrella Tree." I was 7 or 8 when I watched this on TV. I always loved puppets or muppets, or whatever they're called, and I still do! :) That was quality TV, shows like: "Duck Tales," "Secret Life of Toys," "Sharon, Lois and Bram," and "Care Bears." Television for children SUCKS now; I'm so glad I grew up in the 90s!

  • @triciaeveringham so did i i was born in 1988 im a 90's kid just like you i watched this on the disney channel when i was little with my mom

  • AceBlade sent me here

  • it was on disney channel back then.

  • so glad my 7 year old cousin watches this stuff and not shit on tv today she'll grow up to be a good kid

  • omg I just searched for 20 minutes on google to remember the name of this show. does anyone remember the episode where Iggy got amnesia? HAHAHAHA. I miss being little!

  • @wumbos Me too! Sometimes I wish we could start out old, and get young.

  • I used to love this show!!!

  • Ok, I know this was a Canadian based show, but they played this maybe on Disney? Or PBS? As a kid and I used to watch this. So far no one else I've talked to (that's American) remembers this show.

  • @Uhhlaneuh I used to watch this all the time when I was little, it was on PBS...oh, and I'm american, so :)

  • I remember this show! I met Holly when I was a patient at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario when I was 6. I still have the postcard she signed for me!

  • I remember this show. It was pretty good.

  • OMG!!!! I completely forgot about this show!!! I use to watch it all the time!!

  • The eyes on those puppets are so big and creepy!

  • These shows remind me of how kids will believe just about anything, I remember thinking this was real life, and I used to have nightmares about Gloria... :\

  • My Dad wrote and recorded this song. That's his voice... it took him 32 takes before the CBC Executives were happy.

  • @neilandbeatrice That's a male voice???? It sounds like a woman to me!

  • @denelson83 Well as far as I know my dad is a guy... :P

  • @neilandbeatrice Nice joke.... that's a woman's voice dude

  • @Slacktoo wow... ok sure, tone-deaf person. but actually, that's my dad.

  • This show was def my fav puppet show on disney!

  • jacob looks like david shwimmer from friends!

  • @TheDotComKid84 he does! lol

  • I remember as a kid, disney was not free, you had to pay extra for the channel and I was so excited when the disney channel had free weekends to try the channel........but sad at 6am monday morning when u didnt pay for it and it turned off.

  • @adamjcantu i remember that too! i was so excited when we got the free disney channel weekends and taped everything i wanted knowing it would be awhile before I got it again.

  • I'm so glad this is on here, now I can read comments from people that actually remember this show XD

  • *sniff* Ahhh... Such simpler times....

  • I KNEW this show existed and it wasn't all in my head!!!

  • i hated that show with a passion when i was a kid. good to know i still do.

  • great show

  • I used to watch the shit outta this show.

  • I honestly remember watching this when I was 3.

  • @KingConservative That's impossible. Conservatives don't remember anything. Like when Reagan raised taxes on the working class, traded arms for hostages, and granted amnesty for illegal immigrants. Or when Bush gave up on Osama.

  • @Beardmania I remember all of that, and I completely agree with Reagan's amnesty for illegals because I know a lot of good mexican-american us citizens who actually work and pay taxes after they got their amnesty from Reagan.

  • @Beardmania There are whole websites devoted to political bickering, don't sully my childhood memories.

  • @chriscancer13 thats what I'm talkin about! Go elsewhere Damn him!

  • @Beardmania Huh, kind of reminds of how liberals go foggy when you mention Obama keeping Guantanamo Bay open, adding more troops in the middle east, exempting General Electric from all taxes, and lending funds and contracts for offshore drilling to foreign countries while keeping a moratorium on our own.

Maybe, just maybe, this memory problem isn't exclusive to just one ideology.

  • Oh god, I forgot this existed until just now.

  • omg i loved this show when i was little

  • This is one I cannot say I recall, obviously it seemed have a strong enough fan base to get a website for it. this might be one of those cases where I didn't have satellite or cable growing up being the cause as to why I missed it. over all it looks like one of those shows that would keep a kid quiet for 30 minutes lol

  • My show loved jacob

  • This was a funny show, Iggy was the best

  • Those wonderful bygone days

  • Holy shite, I remember watching this...

  • Jacob the bluebird!!!!!!!!

  • Watching things like this are like my own personal time machine to a simpilar time with no work no stress....thank you..

  • I used to love this show back in the late 80s/early 90s. I totally wish it reran today...I'd still watch it!

  • BRING THIS BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!

  • OMFG CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT BOUT THIS SHOW!! i'm 30yrs born 1980! damn been so long.

  • Oh crap I remember watching this! Shows these days are nothing like the ones from the 90s and before! I'm only 25 but I remember when they played some of these old stuff. Anyone remember Ocean Girl?

  • This was on Disney Channel in the mornings around 1990, 1991 and 1992. By then, I was too old to be watching it at around 12 and 13 but I was bored during vacations or when I was home alone. I enjoyed watching this show since it taught kids lessons about friendship and good values. It's sad to see how 20 yrs ago Disney Channel programs included this great show and now they have that drug using slut Hanna Montana

  • I've been looking for the name of this show! miss my childhood when I didn't have a daughter and husband to worry about and just living carefree.

  • i LOVED this show as a kid

  • Vague memories of this show.

  • Jacob is the only character I remembered :(

  • Haha I remember Allegra's Window, and Lamb Chops Play Along...Gullah Gullah Island was one of my all-time favorites...Yep...and there was The Adventures of Richard Scary, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, The Puzzle Place, Reading Rainbow, and Arthur!!

  • @violinplayer101 Yep, I'm turning 22 in two months and I watched ALL those shows too! I was never really crazy about the Puzzle Place and didn't watch Arthur that often though, but on my summer vacation days when I'd be kicking back at Grandma's house with my older sis and baby cousins we'd watch Allegra and Gullah Gullah. Lamb Chop was more when I was in Pre-school.

  • @justjeremiah85 I completely agree! How about polka dot door with Polkaroo? lol.

  • within 32 seconds, i was transported back to being five. then the video ended, and i was like "what? wheres the episode?" then i remembered the whole kinda being an adult thing...

  • @JoshDeMilo

luckily the words adult and child are just words

  • @JoshDeMilo It's okay, it's Youtube! You can watch any episode you want!

  • @JoshDeMilo It kicks you so hard doesn't it? I want to go back to this beautiful time. When I would load up an entire loaf of bread with far FAR too much butter and force my friend to eat all of it so i didn't get in trouble. godamn I wish time machines existed hahah.

  • OMG! Memories!

  • This show was so cool!

  • I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! Under The Unbrella Tree, Adventures in Wonderland, Fraggle Rock, Captain Planet and The Incredible Crash Dummies were my absolute favorite shows growing up! This is REALLY bringing me back to the early 90's!!! They need a reunion special so all of us 90's kids can feel young again :-D
