I will admit the Japanese do have some very sick pornography (as far as in American standards anyway). However, for as sick and deprived as their violent/criminally sexual/incestuous/pedophallic forms of pornography is, their crime rate is significantly less than the United States.

I have, myself, played an English subtitled version of Rapelay and as a gamer, I found the game rather boring and repetitive. There are also other "adult-oriented" games I have played that were ALOT more entertaining than Rapelay. Illusion is the Japanese company that released Rapelay but they have other sexual games that are alot better and worth checking out (just off the top of my head, the Sexy Beach series).
So, in closing, I dont think the ban of the game Rapelay is the answer. Make it only available for sale to ADULTS. Perhaps restrict the sale of it to local sex shops that carry vibrators, dildos, and various other sex toys and pornography.

The Multi Theft Auto mod for Vice City is a pretty fun concept, but is full of bugs. They might have fixed those bugs since the last time I played it.

I have, myself, played an English subtitled version of Rapelay and as a gamer, I found the game rather boring and repetitive. There are also other "adult-oriented" games I have played that were ALOT more entertaining than Rapelay. Illusion is the Japanese company that released Rapelay but they have other sexual games that are alot better and worth checking out (just off the top of my head, the Sexy Beach series).

So, in closing, I dont think the ban of the game Rapelay is the answer. Make it only available for sale to ADULTS. Perhaps restrict the sale of it to local sex shops that carry vibrators, dildos, and various other sex toys and pornography.
I am by no means an advocate for incouraging rape...my argument is that rape is a crime and various crimes have been depicted in video games since the start of video gaming.

I distinctly remember back when the Atari 2600 was out, there was a game called "Custer's Revenge" in which you played General Custer and the object was to dodge indians arrows to get to a female indian to rape her without getting killed (Google it for more details). The Multi Theft Auto mod for Vice City is a pretty fun concept, but is full of bugs. They might have fixed those bugs since the last time I played it.

I'm you with you that not making this game available in the U.S. is no huge loss, but it's the idea that preventing products from being salable on falty logic is something I don't want to encourage. i cant fuckin believe this shit exist. gta is enough , and i like that game, cartoony fun is different. RAPE, i don't even like seeing it simulated in movies. it makes me ill. thats one of the only things i think the death peanalty is good for . sexual preditors.

i am one of the people with a strong belief that video games have no impact on behavior, like with the violence and stuff, but seriously, theres a limit to whats acceptable
