  • Hi! what sort of part time jobs are offered to international students?

  • I'de like to study abroad but i still don't know .... i'm a bit scared of failure ... and well the world is a big place idk if i can adjust to being away from home and my family

but more importantly .... is it worth it ??? i would like to hear someone's opinion about this ... someone who already studied/is studying abroad

  • I'm hopefully going to study in New zealand in about ... 11 months from now :) I'm sooo exited, all though it is extremly for away from where I live, will be an experience I will never forgot. Hope Kiwis are friendly people n_n

  • I visited NZ in 1988. My friend and I spent two months bumming around the country, seeing the sights, meeting people, and surfing some terrific breaks. It was one of the best vacations I ever spent. I especially liked the areas around Wellington and Dunedin. I met this girl in Wellington, who was a University student, and fell in love. Alas, I had to return home. But I think of her every once in a while. If you're out there, Diane, do you still think of me? Hope you're having a great life!

  • @Tsgarlin look for her in facebook!!!

  • People who leave in New Zealand and Australia are really LUCKY!!!!

  • @eatshitordietrying who leave or live ?

  • haha! the Japanese girl studies in a language school, she always smiles!

  • Having studied and lived in nz for over 4 years i must admit that its indeed a wonderful country with full of helpful people. After completing my studies i worked for almost 3 years and i also gained my nz residency. Great video!

  • @studiesinnz Is it crowded now there since immigration is now open ? If possible tell me the reality of the place.

  • OK now i want a pizza

  • Hi all!

I just want to post that I'm living in Wellington for about 10 months now and to be honest and make it really short: I LOVE IT!

Wellington has lots of character and is just an awesome student destination. I loved to study here!

So if you have any questions about Welly don't hesitate to ask me. I look forward to answer your questions as I know how hard it can be to choose the right place to study!

    Cheers!

  • VIRAL MARKETING

  • hi i'm thinking about going to school there but is the food and stuff expensive

  • hi there... sry for my late answer. food and stuff is not that expensive. and after a while ago you´ll know where to find good prices etc.

  • Hey I am trying to study abroad at Victoria University of Wellington and I was wondering how the weather is from February till May. Also is there a lot of stuff for college students to do?

    Thanks!

  • hello... it´s winter and spring time around this months. but especially the weather in wellington is inconsistantly. you can experience four seasons on one day- it´s unbelievable. ;)

Welly has lots of cafes, bars and pubs and other activities to do (especially sport). Wellington is a good destination and you can easily drive up to Kapiti Coast or Masterton :) whatever you feel like

  • Hi! I'm a Chemical Engineering student in the State University of New York. I was accepted by WelTec for the Automotive Engg certificate program in 2006 but because it was a certificate, I didn't go there.

I would like to know if it's really worth it getting the certificate in WelTec. Because I'd like to work as an Engineer not as an Automotive technician...

    Have you heard good reviews?

I'd appreciate it if you could respond!

    Cheers, mate!

  • Mate I work at WelTec so might not be the most unbiased. Depends what the desired outcome is. The first Eng Bachelor degree starts next year so probably a better fit for your situation. Also visted SUNY New Paltz, Purchase and Buffalo in 2005 so have some experience of your part of the world. Can put you in touch with other students if you like.

  • That'd be very kind of you! I'll send you my email address in your YouTube mail. Please be sure to check your inbox for it.

Once again, thanks for being helpful! I appreciate it...

    Cheers, mate!

  • Hey i live in welly and ive studied at both otago university (dunedin) and victoria university in wellington. I wouldnt recomend weltech if you are eligible to study at a real university instead. But wellington is an awesome place and i would recomend looking at Auckland, Victoria, Otago, and Cantabury university. I think Cantabury is probly your best bet for engineering, but Auckland, Otago, and Victoria are well recognised universities internationally.

  • Thanks for the advice, mate! I am studying at one of the best Chem Engg programs in the country, but what's worrying me the most is the economy and the current state United States is in: Not very good for living...Something I'm hoping to achieve elsewhere. NZ is small, but it's more peaceful.

Since, I've already spent a lot of Benjamins studying here, WelTec is probably the only place I can afford to go.

    Let's see!

    Thanks, again!

  • verey fntastic heeey I saw my cousin :* in the class

  • great! it's been very useful for our visits in Vietnam and Thailand

  • excellent - glad you like it
