my winsock stilll doesnt work when i switch on my laptop it sais i have an incorrect verison of winsock installed and it sais utorrent on top of it:S

i tried putting in the command u showed us on my cmd and it didnt work

i also tried this:netsh winsock reset which worked for me last week cause i had this problem before but it doesnt work anymore...help:/

I never had internet problems because i use programs to repair errors but I delete some 'unimportant files' with glary utilities and then I run google chrome and was veeerrryy slow...I deleted and I downloaded safari but it was again slow...Internet explorer now is faster lol

I typed in everything perfect and then i got a message in the CmD and it said Failed. and then said something like You need elevation? any ideas? thanks and have a good day

@bigblue32 do a repair on windows. thats putting windows over the top of windows all your data will be safe and your problem should be fixed

i have the same problem as micahsk my vonage phone is connected to same motorola SBG900 wireless surfboard gateway and is working fine and i use the same router for my laptop which is working fine but cant connect with IE on my desktop........

ok ive tried all 3 ways and its not working. for the winsockxpfix i hit "fix" then it goes to "apply the vb_winsock fix?" i click yes then it goes to "registry import information not found" i click ok it does some stuff then it says repair completed please reboot and i hit ok then it says "run-time error '53': file not found" click ok then it closes. any ideas what i should do?

Does this problem looks like my problem: I play Flight Simulator, and when I minimize FS and try to open it again it doesn't open. Also in Taskmanager I select FS2004 and click on activate and it still doesn't open so I have to end the program and restart it (Using Vista) Any Help?

My problem now is that i have internet back and such... but i have no upload speed anymore :/

I went to several websites where you can test your speed and such and all came back with 0.0kbps upload speed.

its a very rare case that it never work, but I must say I have had that happen to me before 2 times and could not get it working with a reformat :) but it is rare when that happens, sorry to hear in never worked for you.
