  • that motherfuckin' wall of sound is the pandemonium itself, GEORDIE WALKER #1 RHYTHM GUITAR PLAYER IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSUM

  • It took me back to the origins, it's like I always knew this song. Just amazing

  • Gods.

  • Cool Song, great Band. Where is the Tribute-Longplayer. Cover this and hail this Band. Thankx

  • fucking ace

  • so very 90s

  • todo un clasico!

  • every killing joke fan should own a copy of Sarah Brightman's Harem album. Jazz worked extensively on that and it shows - its a stunning album. There was a limited edition with a 'making of' dvd and hes on it a lot.

Look for videos on yoube for the song harem, arabian nights or others off that album

  • Great post. Killing Joke is awesome.

  • EPIC

  • all that is, wasnt there at the first place! Malak Taus.

  • I just LOVE that Jimi Hendricks that is about start when all this fortune ends.., but not to plame this song to be THE BEST OF WHAT IS. Mutual to others... but not so. Thank You

  • Earache My Eye:

    I can see tomorrow

try to tell me how to live

    : )

  • Earache My Eye

  • Man I miss this song!!

  • very cool!!

  • in the end you can hear the beginning of "dirty boots" by sonic youth...

  • seems pitchshifter must of been listening to this track lol

  • Kotiteollisuus cover is better!

  • @ss2341 No, but if you're just saying this because of your sense of patriotism then why not.

  • @thundertower its really better

  • @ss2341 It's a note by note cover song, it's not like they put some effort in on changing parts a lil bit on here and there for their own artistic interpretation, the only part they changed is the chorus part where you suppose to sing instead they growl death metal style. If you're referring to the sound? fuck that it's not even debatable, it's generic heavy metal bullshit.

  • @thundertower They sing in finnish. That isn't changing parts?

  • @ss2341 lol no, i already said it if it's only for patriotic reason then why not, if you like this you should check out democracy rooster mix, performed by CARCASS but w/original vocals.

  • @ss2341 That's a fucking lie!

  • @kylahullu666 Ei ole vitun vale

  • Anarchy!:)

  • these guys are just a poor rip off of marilyn manson, and did they not rip the riff out of nirvanas come as you are? pathetic, unoriginal and uncool if you ask me

  • @harvest21021982 ummm manson has nothing to do with these guys, nothing at all lol, and Nirvana ripped off of them considering that the song you are speaking of was from 85. go hang yourself, Nirvana are the unoriginal pieces of shit that cannot make anything beyond commercial, average, hard rock.

  • @hellchild65 You like mushroomhead though lol it's hard to take your music cred seriously.

  • @thundertower yeah, but mushroomhead dont even take themselves serioulsy half the time, they are like Wednesday 13 or Misfits, but in the industrial metal area of music

  • @harvest21021982 errr harvest, you want to check your history mate. As a fan of the Joke since the 80's and a big grunge fanatic as well (ie: i love Nirvana) if any band was ripping off the other it was Kurt et al. As for Manson....what the f**k are you talking about???? Are you still in your teens???

  • @harvest21021982 oh dear!

  • @harvest21021982 Wow. How someone can be so wrong, so many times in two lines of text is quiet breath taking.

  • @loingsigh101 he had to have been trolling.lol

  • grunge was a mix of punk and metal in a way these are like one of the first grunge bands but never got named it

  • amazing, haven't heard this song for 15 years, and found it again today ,now I can't stop listening....the only new things are those which have been forgotten..

  • Best Killing Joke Song ever!

  • Awesome grungey riff!

  • It makes me want to touch that and put it there!

  • sounds like dirty boots at the tail end of the vid

  • @cymbeli Yes.... how dare a band that has existed for 30 years have another band take from them and then have some loser think that their favorite band took from the orginator.

Learn your place..... or shut up.

  • A potent elixir of sheer musical ecstasy.

  • Nice Vuvusela intro

  • Awesome

  • Killing Joke first, Sonic Youth after. FUCK YEAH.

  • @chainsawmax cool I'm not the only one who noticed that.

  • One for the skiiiiiin floweeeeer !

-just sounds a bit like the song i think-

  • it need better qualitty...great

  • pardon me - system sooooooo slow so didn't register that my comment was uploaded. The I realised it's confrontational of me. What I mean is - "longevity or not...make up OUR minds" pandaemonium rocking the balance though aye!

  • longevity or not. make your mind up

  • longevity or not? make up your mind

  • allow me longevity then after all. Or not

  • This is the first time I've seen this video. Great song by a great band! I remember hearing this in Seattle on KISW years ago. The guitar riffs are so catchy with a perfect backing beat.

  • weird..but i hear Marilyn Manson's Tourniquet verse with this songs verse starting at :47 seconds in. Prolly the flow of the bass. Crazy..never heard a similarity till awhile ago. Great song...but similar sounding verses in my head.

  • @blackgumball

lets face it, Manson's more famous for his covers and swallowing flem than he is for his music. he probably stole that bass line. if you like manson, dont take offence, i dont like him. ;)

  • I had this CD at one time, i dont know where it went but oh well.

  • Great track... but I can see Tomorrow as well... and this version looks like a Sharia run Shit-hole. Back to the stone-age/ Islam style!

  • Jaz Coleman is a musical genius.

  • @TwistedRadioHead1 I don't think I can vote this up enough.

  • Vivement le mois d'avril!

  • Yes Paris pour moi :o)

  • @mickybicky50 que ouai mec!

  • I saw Killing Joke in 1994 at The Academy (no longer there) in NYC.

The heaviest, loudest, most kick ass show I've ever seen.....and I've seen Motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. I miss KJ.

  • Great powerful throbbing rock with a touch of eastern improvisation, this is real rock pulsating girating no room for Westlife here!

  • ...Still, not many people realise that this is infact a remix by Sank (Cybersank).

  • @Problembeing I was one of thoose

  • The original is part of the New Zealand recording sessions. If you want to hear the original, you have to search for 'Pandemonium (Aotearoa mix)', might also just be 'original mix',

It is the same for Millennium too, that is a Sank remix, the original is also an Aotearoa mix, and is much rawer and punkier. I've also got the original Aotearoa version of Mathematics of Chaos.

  • First time I saw Killing Joke live was when they did a promotional set for this album down in the basement of Tower Records, Piccadilly Circus in 1995. Crammed with fans, this came on, it was loud and intense. You can imagine it.

  • The first time I heard this song was live. I will never forget it.

  • I remember buying KJ's pandemonium on vinyl at my local record store earlier this year. Its got some bad ass reprints. Cheers to KJ and many more!!!!

  • Syns de er bra ennå. 30 år etter. ;))

  • Lately I've been in the mood for nothing but Killing Joke, Prong and Suicidal Tendencies. Great bands.

  • cheers! pandemonium... ;-)

  • Clearly one of the best songs ever created.

  • @Problembeing Tis a classic - 2 weeks time at Hammersmith, London - gonna be a goodun

  • @MudClubb it was a goodun Saw in Dublin on the Wed and London on the Sat 2 brilliant shows

  • @Problembeing I agree this is the first Killing joke song I ever heard and I bought the album shortly after, thhis was back in 94, 95. Still a great song.

  • R U prepared?

  • Yes.

  • Listen the voice from the big pyramid and if you can, feel the spirit of KING ALEXANDER-for anyone who can dream!

  • fuckin in love with that bass

  • there class i cant believe i only heard of them 2day

  • Man i love that heavy bassline.

  • killing joke are just awesome

  • It's unbelievable that in 2009, there are still people out there who view the world from a neo-colonial/orientalist perspective. Read a fucking book.

  • lol i dunt agree with you but your joke was funny

  • heavy band

  • Epic song from an epic band.

  • Paul Raven you are still missed among the music world. R.I.P..

  • I need to add a comment because they deserve so much more than 55 comments. Might this be the most underrated band ever? They certainly were very, very, very important to me.

  • anyone think they ripped off helter skelter a little with this song? a great rip off though.

  • To deadinapark: Yeah, I know what you're talking about...The descending guitar riff...The one in Helter Skelter is definitely similar, but...It may be a coincidence, right? And anyway, The Cockroaches' song is just a little commercial tune, this, instead...This is the fucking shit!!!

Do I really need to say how much Jaz Coleman is fucking badass when he roars in the chorus: "I CAN SEE TOMORROW"? Fucking amazing! Especially love the chorus!

  • Helter Skelter is NOT a commercial tune. Have you heard it? It isn't really radio friendly.

You don't have to demean that song, its an awesome song.

  • No,no,I'm not demeaning that song and, yes, of course I heard it. Though I don't like The Beatles at all, I like Helter Skelter. Yeah, it has some pretty dissonant chords, but I always thought (and I'll always think) that it's just like any other Beatles' song, that is a commercial pop/rock tune, only with a bit of distortion added. But, hey, weren't The Who and The Kinks doing it way before them?

But this is just my opinion, it may be wrong, you don't have necessarily to agree with it, right?

  • Fantastic never dates..

  • I saw them in Paris , they were fabulous... I was surprised to see all kind of people at the gig, men and women, old and young, punk, metal fans and others ... The audience roared with each song, impressive. Long live KJ !

  • from the days of requiem and empire to pandemonium, killing joke are stil a mystery to me...,i fucking love them,..unique as fuck.

  • Couldn't phrase that any better! Went to the two Berlin shows last year - wow! That was more than just two concerts - that was a spiritual experience of a kind!

  • Joke are still the dogs nutz!!!

  • This would be great music for POP - Warrior Within

  • This sounds a lot different from the album version. Still awesome though.

  • It must have been 1981 or so when I first heard Killing Joke - incredible that they're still as potent now as they were then - the bass and drums on this track are awesome - what a groove! Love it!

  • Great,Innovative stuff.True Riffs!

  • great tune,

  • i'm 40,,,

( beadbud .... you old fucker! lol ;)

the joke are the wasps nipples!

heavy rattlehead?... getn btyhe album "whats this for"...

    thats heavy!

  • Great video

  • Damn it! they are Heavy! very different from stuff like New day or love like blood.

  • There are few bands out there with the quality and passion found in this band. Totally inspiring.

  • you said it. i still think they are so underrated! eventhough they have inspired so many diff bands. jaz coleman himself is a true musician.

  • Excellent!!!!

  • I am seeing KJ tomorrow in Chicago! I CANNOT WAIT!!!! Woot!

  • I saw Killing Joke live on saturday at the forum in london.

they're the best band i've ever seen live.

only bad thing is i was the youngest there :s

    i'm only 16 lol

    Jaz Coleman = LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yoou weren't the youngest - I took my sons - new KJ fans - aged 16 and 14!!

  • Next generation! Good work!

  • I am 48. Likely closer to the mean age... maybe a bit over. Love Killing Joke though!

  • HELP I need tickets that are not a rip off.

  • If you want a ticket- check out scarletmist- it's an ethical fan to fan ticket exchange at face value- there's only one ticket on there at the mo for £20= search "scarlet mist"- good luck..

  • Saturday 4th Oct 08 Killing Joke will play the album Pandemonium live at the Forum London- The title track does play amazing live and with the Singles also in the mix on the set list- well it's going to be a gig to remember forever- I can't wait- I can see tomorrow- hear the pandemonium...
