how did you record this? How come no sound?

I used gtk-recordmydsektop, then croped with mencoder, and used ffmpeg to transcode to avi (from ogv) and shrink to 11mb.

I dunno about the sound, it seems gtk-recordmydesktop didn't get it.

Thanks for the info. Why did you crop with mencoder though? Did you know that you can make gtk-recordmydesktop only record a window?

Or do you mean that you cut parts of the video out? (I thought you mean you cropped width/height)

ah I did not see the option to record only a window with gtk-recordmydesktop (yes I cropped width/height, length) ^^.
