Het was echt een fantastische ervaring. De acceleratie van zo'n ding had ik nog niet eerder meegemaakt (sindsdien wel, in een Tesla Roadster notabene :-)) en het geluid, ook in de auto, was weergaloos. Het is nog steeds jammer dat het rondje niet wat langer duurde, zou het graag nog eens mee willen maken. En dan bij voorkeur op een plek waar je iets langer, iets harder, door kan trekken. :-)

No, the car doesn't have a cylinder-deactivation system. All 12 cylinders are active at all times. I don't think the owner necessarily meant to lie, but I'm pretty sure he bought the car to impress passers-by more than for his own enjoyment. Otherwise he'd know that car inside-out.
