I really want to try out the same tuning but im worried about my strings, i dont want them to snap cause i cant afford new strings right now. What do you think about it?
@tacosupreme7 Thanks! Definitely don't try this tuning on normal strings because they will break and/or warp your neck. I'm using a set of piccolo strings which are much lighter gauge and have a little more elasticity to them so that they can be tuned to a wider range without snapping or putting extra strain on the neck. Fortunately piccolo strings are pretty cheap (got mine for about $20 online).
