Yeah but Editing and Music isn't most of it at all what makes a montage good is it's gameplay without good gameplay you would be bored to death even if you like the music. For example a montage that only consists in doubles and triples in social slayer but have the best song for your opinion and best editing does not make it good :)

What I meant that the screaming part carries absolutely no musicality in my opinion.  I feel that synching in a montage can make or break it and its impossible to synch clips to screaming with any effect. I find that indie rock, dance (not hardcore dance) bands like Pendulum and Prodigy work well with montage because of beat and there is so much opportunity with the rise and fall of genre's like this.

k well, that's a little better, but at the same time it is not true that screaming parts carry no musicality simply for the non-melodic fact. there is still guitarists, bassists, and thereby chord changes and maybe even counter-melodies. I'll be honest, this wasn't the greatest screamo song, nor do i think the post-hardcore genre with lead singers only screaming is the greatest (or the most talented). however, listen to BTBAM, PtH, etc, and they do screaming, yet are very musical and have beat
