Very nicely done, but the vinyl simulation is overdone in places for my tastes. I'd have preferred if you'd made it like a well cared for old record, i.e. with subtle crackling but no skipping. I can see why you might want to add to the poignancy by making it sound as though the old record being played has been neglected and unloved for a time, but I think the song and video are poignant enough without the need for such measures.

@SnowSunbather I understand your distaste for the sound, but every defect effect was strategically placed. If the record survived this time period I selected, it would be rare to be in good condition. Plus, the entire concept is based on irony. A song written during a time of abundance, but with a vision of the poorest of conditions. Just when you are comfortable with the flow, I throw in an uncomfortable distraction. The film is from many clips that I aged, with bombs and teddybears, as one.
