What led wash moving heads were those? I really liked them

Do you project much live stuff - onto your screens - i.e. guests dancing or even at the bar, sitting around - even the DJ at work?

We do many schools functions but might not be allowed use of cameras of any sort. However, we see the teachers and staff making videos at the events for their archives, so perhaps lend them the camera maybe, but not record anything.

We do have static cams at gigs and also have one person with a roving camera that we download and run through arkaos and project back onto the screen with added effects....we also have "text the screen" softwear where clients a guests can text there messages to the screen.

We will be doing videos on this at a later date..

Yes they are the X1's, they were a little bit more expensive when we got them a few years ago. We still use them though, they are a great deck.

I'm speechless here. I love those LED Moving heads you have on the floor. And is that Yellow coming from the LED moving heads? I'm trying to find an effect light that actually can produce a true yellow light. They claim to do RGB colour mixing but the yellow looks more green or orange than anything else, even with controlled via DMX. Anyway just an amazing video!

Hi, thnaks for the comment. Yea using the sunlite controller we can get a pretty good yellow from the moving heads. I am gonna do a video on the moving heads this week sometime so ill make sure i show the yellow. Thanks again.

Great idea, What is the screen?

come on...it's not a standard projector screen

The screen is a lycra style screen that is rear projected onto. There is some more information about it in the "how to add a screen to your rig" videos i did. Hope that helps

Great video and I liked the screen set up. Was this a real gig or a mock set up? Re LED moving heads, what's you thoughts. Are they more of a wash effect rather than normal moving heads? hope to see you at BPM.Thanks.

Hiya mate. This was a real gig, it was a large engagment party. The LED moving heads are great for a wash effect however once u put them through a controller or PC you can get some great effects but to be honest you can get just as effective lights for alot less cost.

I am not sure who makes the moving head wash's but they are branded by BATMINK in the uk.
