The Mexicali competition...Well, that is a question difficult to answer, but maybe it would be good for you to know that the person who won first place on the section 3, played the Prokofiev Sonata No. 3, and is a student at maybe the finest university level school of music in Mexico. If I remember well it is only necesary to play 10 minutes. What are you playing now that you would consider to be equally demanding as the prokofiev sonata?

Just check timings on the competition website, I believe you only need 10 minutes.
