  • I always liked Xorcist over Skinny Puppy. Both were amazing, don't get me wrong. I was just always a sucker for samples and Xorcist sampled some of my favorite movies ever.

  • Omg!!! This is awesome. I havent listen to them in years. I remember seeing them in a small club back home in SLC. They are awesome and yes so is Skinny Puppy!!!!

  • Omg!!! This is awesome. I havent listen to them in years. I remember seeing them in a sall club back home in SLC. They are awesome and yes so is Skinny Puppy!!!!

  • Would like a remake, k thx bai

  • NO! NOT! Skinny Puppy! .. Pay attention to what your hearing. You'll hear the difference. .. Both are equally talented however, Skinny Puppy are GODS!!!! .. Not to take away from Xorcist, they are awesome!!!!

  • I used to love seeing him perform this at The Trocadero and other palces in SF. My ears are still bleeding. His best song by far.

    Awesome, thanks for posting it!!!!!

  • That Biological Mustant. It is from the game, right? Is this the cause of all that went wrong on the ship? I remember wikipedia once said that if you looked hard enough, you would be able to figure out why the O'Brien went rogue in the first place.

Or worse yet, could this mutant be the Iron Helix itself? Since everyone was so secretive about it and you never saw what it really looked like, could this mutant have some sort of power that acts like a bomb like from Akira?

  • they were great

    !xorcist!

  • this brings back some awesome memorys "the Iron Helix!"

  • Geez... the info was right there in the title. I'm a dumbass. Thanks, man. Awesome track.

  • Is this the band Skinny Puppy? What's the name of the song?

  • The piece is titled "Iron Helix" and it's by Xorcist

  • I'm not hating, but I think its funny how most people think that all Industrial is either Skinny Puppy, or NIN....lol

  • @disciple21781 haha, yup - sux too how american industrial bands like Xorcist, Pulse Legion, etc. were/are so under-rated compared to the europeans. oh yeah, as you you have noticed on the links here - this was a soundtrack to a crappy pc game - hehe

  • @johannjvkp I'm featuring a lot of American Electro Industrial bands on my channel.

    Go0dStuff : )

  • wow this brings back some fantastic memories/ been looking for this theme forever. Never thought to check Youtube until tonight. thanks so much for posting this

  • Hells to the yeah ^^ Played and beat this game every which way.

Most definitely ^^ WE WANT ANOTHER!!!

  • one of the best theme songs for a computer game, that's for sure!

And while I never got to play the full game there was a demo version (or possibly video trailer) on a magazine cd way back in '93, and I've never forgotten the mechanized voice going "...sterilize, dehumanize, the Iron Helix!", just pure awesomeness, thank you so much for putting this up here :)

  • BTW, if you want to see a remake or movie for Iron Helix the best person to lobby with would be Drew Huffman (Drew Pictures). If done correctly, this would make an excellent film or video game remake. Problem is convincing them to actually do it, but it might not be too far-fetched considering how well it did back in 1993-1995.

  • I just figured out how to get into the room. However, I have no idea WHAT kind of room it is. Something tells me it could be sort of like a cryo chamber like from the Aliens movies, but the image of what's inside it puzzling to say the least. Best as I can tell, its either a baby or a small alien.

  • How did you get into that room at 1:30? As I remember there were no rooms on the 4th Deck that you could enter. What room is that? It looks like the picture of a baby.

  • I used to play this on my friend's Packard-Bell because had a VGA and I only had an EGA. Wow, high school, man.

Neither of us were very good at it. What's the story with the woman floating in the medical lab?

  • This is still one of my all-time favorite games. I still play it occasionaly for the nostalgia. I don't think a movie or remake could do this game justice.

Great song too... back when video games actually had great music.

  • damn I used to spin this when it came

blast from the past or what

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting, this really takes me back!
