  • I am the entertainment agent in Chicago that booked all of the Chicago area performances for the Sheiks for many years (Joliet, Schaumburg, Mt Prospect, etc). Does anyone know how I can get in touch with any of these guys? They were "hands down" the best act I ever booked in any nightclub, period. If anyone can help let me know. John

  • i had heard that the singer had past away in the late 80's? do you know this to be true? they had played that song much better than that video showed, i think that was an off night, but i did like going to see them in NOLA

  • No, he's still alive and well. He is in Branson Mo. I believe.

  • YEa he is still in branson..I just sat down and talked with him like on july 5 and he played on the grand piano for me and stuff hes awsome.

  • @shelb10

I was there @ Sheila's @ the world's fair and jeds and Mongrue's and that place they played in LaPlace, Bum's Maybe??

  • I don't know if you'll ever see this, tugboatman, but, as the others have said, Michael is alive & well in Branson. But his roommate, road manager & light guy, Phillip Geiger did die in the late 80s.

  • @tugboatmam No, he's not dead, his name is Michael O'Hara. I know him well; as a matter of fact I played drums alongside him in a small church in Florissant, MO for 2 years. Then he moved to Branson, (I live in Branson myself); I actually moved to Branson with my family because of him. He got a gig in Branson for a gospel opera that he wrote/produced called "The Isles of Dreams". After 2 seasons it stopped and he moved to Forth Worth Texas about 8 months ago. He's a minister of the gospel now.
