What Do Bleeding Gums Mean?

Hello...

I'm 14 and afraid of this, my gums bleed sometimes but it dosent hurt.. I know it because of lack of oral hygiene but I haven't been brushing my teeth for a while... I'm brushing my teeth regularly now sooo can I recover my gums? thank you gals and guys

mine only bleed when the dentist puts sharp pointed objects in my mouth carelessly pokes around for a good while and then brutishly flosses my teeth.

My gums do not hurt, but the bleed only when I brush and it is only around a couple of my front teeth. Is that still a sign on Gingavitis or something else? I use a soft bristle brush and I don't think I brush too hard.

Mine don't bleed regurarly. I brushed my teeth and they just started bleeding while I was brushing them. Sometimes I use baking soda and whitining strips. After I'm done brushing, my gums still bleed a bit and they really really hurt. Sometimes they hurt so bad that I can't sleep. What should I do?! I'm going out of town in a few days so I can't see a dentist!
