Take a look at climate change, there is a HUGE push back against the overwhelming evidence that the planet is getting a little bit warmer and that it's due in some part to human activities. When I look at the push back from geocentrists when science proved that the earth rotates around the sun, I see a lot of similarities.

As an aside, the title to this should probably be changed to "Santorum says scientists are IMmoral", rather than Amoral. I'd actually say science is amoral, which means "unconcerned with morality". Science isn't technically effected by morality, which is instead the duty of ethical committees. It's the advancement of knowledge and doesn't necessarily have a moral goal, as the same technology used to make biological weapons can be used to make antibiotics.

i am a pro life atheist. i believe in evolution, i KNOW global warming is happening, i also believe that unless the woman was raped, or the child is the product of incest, then it is wrong to abort. i also dont agree with late term or partial birth abortions unless the mother's well being is at stake. I think science can answer how, but science cannot answer why. but science never tries to answer why, it only says "this is blue" but never says "this is blue because it is supposed to be blue"

Take a look at climate change, there is a HUGE push back against the overwhelming evidence that the planet is getting a little bit warmer and that it's due in some part to human activities. When I look at the push back from geocentrists when science proved that the earth rotates around the sun, I see a lot of similarities.

Science and religion can coexist, it just takes a little open mindedness from both sides. There surely is an ethics side to science, that i believe was founded in religion. But let the researches research. Too often are scientists paid to skew the results or set up an experiment to serve a special interest. ("Immoral" means "contrary to morality" or "going against morality" while "amoral" means "not involved with morality." A hammer is a tool, and is amoral. As an aside, the title to this should probably be changed to "Santorum says scientists are IMmoral", rather than Amoral. I'd actually say science is amoral, which means "unconcerned with morality". Science isn't technically effected by morality, which is instead the duty of ethical committees. It's the advancement of knowledge and doesn't necessarily have a moral goal, as the same technology used to make biological weapons can be used to make antibiotics.

Some of us fundamentalists used to shoot abortion doctors, but now it’s apparent that scientists are an equal if not worse threat than abortion doctors. Scientists spread their lies, dulling the minds of our children & poisoning our school system. Their schlock is aired on TV & the radio, & regularly makes the news because of its dishonest & sensationalist claims. Enough is enough.

The time has come for the ordinary everyday follower of God to matters into his own hands. Burn the science books, protest outside guilty TV & radio stations, besiege guilty schools, & track & cull the scientists themselves, quietly & without leaving any incriminating evidence. Together my Christian brethren, we can make a difference, by removing these people & forcing change within the guilty institutions. ONWARD FOR GOD!
