  • Well past the second Lisbon treaty now, after the first one failed to appease,it has been proved to me without doubt that democracy does not exist within Ireland.

Now the IMF are closing in for the kill, with Taoiseach Brian Cowen playing the idiot, pretending to be innocent due to stupidity or incompetence.

We as a nation are in hot water.

We are clutching at straws in the maelstrom, forced to depend on a government that has lied, swindled and cheated us repeatedly and remorselessly.

    Good video.

    Good video.

  • I voted No first time, I voted No second time and I will vote No third time if they want to change Lisbon treaty again!!!!

  • Cowen had no choice.

  • ROMANIAN HUMAN TRAFFICKING INTO IRELAND

3 men will be sentenced in Romania for trafficking Romanians into Ireland for labour exploitation.

Remus Fusteac 41, his son Arthur Sergiu 21, and his nephew, Alexandru 20, were charged with human trafficking, running organised crime syndicate, money laundering and possession of firearms.

They were arrested and charged after a joint investigation by the Gardaí and the police in Romania.

They face up to 15 years in prison.

    RTÉ.ie 2/10/09

  • @waaeaa Shit happens , what is your point?? I can say something about british pedophyles in Romania, also.

  • @waaeaa

What's your point shithead? Are you trying to tell us there are no Irish criminals? Criminality doesn't have nationality.

  • Just in>>> Ireland has voted YESSS !!! To the Lissabon Treaty!!!!!!!! . This is A great day For Ireland And a Great day For Europe. Thank you Ireland!!! Peace prevails. Anyone who was still against Europe is a War loving Hitler loving Conspiracy Theory loving maniac. Europe has seen enough wars. We need Peace. War Never Again. Europeans United. Love and Peace from Holland.

  • I think you are very wrong. Germany is now the centre of Europe, Hitler would be delighted that his dream has come true. Sit back and watch you naiive fool. The wars that are coming will be bigger and more destructive than ever. A sad day for democracy.

  • Good luck with your conspiracy theory retard. Go have a life and get laid.

  • @taobhchlea OOOh , shut the fuck up,you are from Germany, you should be proud for your country.

  • @cornel10

Thanks for your rude reply (very typical from a romanian gypsy).

  • @taobhchlea Ok, sorry for my reply, sensitive boy, I thought germans are patriots but it seems you don't.What is happening now with Europe have nothing in common with Hitler. You are very pesimist.P.S. And, I'm not gypsy at all or do you think all romanians are gypsies??

  • @cornel10 I'm not German but what;s happenming now in the world is very similar to Hitlers time. History repeats itself over and over.

  • And the people who are bringing chaos and destruction to Europe are going to bring peace????? you utter fool

  • Let's not forget that both Spain and Lux voted overwhelmingly in favour of the EU Constitution. Also remember that the cumulative 'Yes' vote for the EU Constitutional Treaty in Spain, Lux, France and the Netherland was greater than the cumulative 'No' vote. Also bear in mind that more than two thirds of the voters opted for a 'Yes' to Lisbon on Friday.

I'm not sure about Hitler and the Lisbon debate. I thought (perhaps mistakenly) that Hitler and Eva Braun had died in Berlin in 1945.

  • lol lets not forget. u do understand basic concepts like unanimity for eu treaties. heres a hint. any no means no! u cant just add up countries like they are all the same. nice try though.

  • @1957Rotu hitler and eva never died, you twit!

they live in hiding with elvis.

    bambi just joined :)

  • The "Yes" won.

    Unfortunatly it did.

    But not everything is lost.

Vaclav Klaus will save Europe from the LT.

He will stop the or at least delay the implementation of the Treaty until the UK legislative election on wich we can only hope the Conservatives win and make the Referendum in the UK.

The British people will save us from the LT, I hope.

But firstly, the Conservatives MUST win.

    Down with LIESbon!

    Long live Portugal!

PS: You disapointed me Ireland :(

  • The EU will not accept it if you give them the 'wrong' answer (i.e. No). Even if Ireland had said no this time, they would've had a 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc, etc referendum until the correct answer 'yes' was given. I'm also disappointed with my country but I wouldnt hold out on UK Conservatives rejecting it. They are divided and don't forget they are a neoliberal right wing party just like New Labour so ultimately they have similar agendas.

  • So YES wins. Good to see the voter has come to there senses, or we would've had to do it a 3rd time. Now, the recovery can begin

  • There wouldn't been a third vote if the NO won!! Democracy is "people can choose no or yes", not "people can say yes or no, but we don't mind and we continue on our road anyway". Unfortunately, the last one is the conception that EU has of democracy. Anyway, the YES won. We're all fucked up. When we will all be somewhere in the world fighting some absurd war in the EU army, maybe people will understand his mistake.

  • Wow, you have succumbed to the NO proganda.

Have you not heard of the EU clause to prevent us from doing anything unconstitutional? of course not, you were too busy being spoonfed crap by Coir about how we will have a minimum wage of 1€ and that germany would've voted no. Clearly the 2nd referendum served a purpose as the decision overturnded.

Now we can take our NAMA money from the ECB while not looking like complete hypocrites for rejecting their treaty.

  • No propaganda? What no propaganda?

Everybody at television and on journals says wonders about the Lisbon treaty. If I am against this treaty, it's because i rode it on my own.And it is true that EU didn't choose who could vote, but two countries rejected the European constitution with referendum, and the EU called the same text "treaty" instead of "constitution", because in this way Germany and France could not put a referendum on it.

  • How about Coir? "Germany would've voted NO". BULLSHIT.

    "Minimum wage 1.82€" BULLSHIT.

Coir are a rabble of liars

  • You tell 'em.

  • @adserkeogh

"Good to see the voter has come to there senses, or we would've had to do it a 3rd time."

Weird conception of democracy. So if you don't like election results, you make people vote again and again until the result suits you (and then never ever let them vote again)?

  • Why the Eu didnt' let all the countries of Europe to make a referendum? Why they fear the peoples will?

    Vote no!!!

  • Referendums are illegal in some countries, i.e. Germany and Italy or have no constitutional binding as in the UK. Ireland must have a referendum for legal reasons.

    Vote YES!!!

  • Germany and Holland said no to the European constitution. So,they made an identical text and they called it "treaty" instead of "consitution" in order to avoid the referendum. This is a bad trick.

The Lisbon treaty justify death execution in case of riots of every kind. Moreover, it justify offensive wars in order to resolve international disputes. With this treaty the whole Europe will be in the hand of a restrict elite

Stop New World Order, stop Lisbon treaty

  • It's now 22:05 voting has finished and the majority of Irish people have voted YES.

    Long live the European Union.

    Celebrate by watching this:

    /watch?v=iTsQk7IKyTk

  • Ahahahahahahahahah!!!!!

The counting of the votes will start tomorrow, but you know the result now!

    You must be drunk.

Go to sleep, it is better to you.

  • Germany said no to the EU?

    Germany IS the EU

  • The French and Belgian people already said no...it was just worded different "EU" constution". The elitests will never listen to the people.

  • No, your just plain misinformed. The EU didn't choose who could vote. The countries themselves passed it without referendum, however in our constitution it says we must vote on any changes to constitutional legislature.

  • I have just voted No :)

  • I have just voted YES along with the rest of my family and friends. :)

  • Good for you, i couldnt really care what the out come is honsestly

  • "90 per cent of it is still there These changes havent made any dramatic change to the substance of what was agreed back in 2004."

    - Irish Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, commenting on the Lisbon Treaty, Irish Independent, 24 June 2007

    Vote No!

  • Vote YES and give two fingers to the coirless LIARS

  • Calling all leprechauns! Vote yes!

  • VOTE YES TO VOTE THE IRISH CONSITITUTION AWAY. It is the act of the gullible and the naive and the plain criminal

  • if you vote yes you are a complete idiot. Its that simple.

  • Have seen all the propeganda. Am still voting 'no' tomorrow.

  • T*W*A*T*S

Your minimum wage lie was up there with the greatest propaganda lies of all time.

I have thought of a suitable acronym translation for C*O*I*R but decency & manners prevent me from publication.

This did not stop you from your lies & a poster that will be your undoing!

  • Vote yes you fools will be beaten tomorow

  • 33 areas of veto preserve our power in Nice, we will be relying on guarantees from an EU that has already broken all pledges to Holland since their parliament ratified the TREATY after their people voted NO to the identical constitution.

That is only one major issue out of dozens that are cited with extreme relevence by the NO campaign.

And the YES smear campaign with vague wishy washy assurances are the cornerstone of their cowtowing view, telling us to throw in our lot and to "TRUST US".

  • Who in their right mind would vote for politicians in Brussels more corrupt than our own. Some people have no critical thinking going on. Our guys are doing what they are told by the big fish in return for plum jobs for the YES men. How retarded must someone be not to realise this basic truth?

I am voting NO again, and so is everyone i know. Including the few who voted Yes the last time and have educated themselves since then.

We are all very worried about the numerous points of concern.

  • I'd certainly trust them more than I'd trust you lot of weirdos to be in charge of the country. VOTE YES.

  • this is an abortion of a video!!

  • vote no!

  • brian cowen does resemble a big fat pig!!

    voteNO

  • ya Retrded Ballbag

  • Vote NO..

  • bunch of scaremongering cunts with your minimum wage posters and those posters that show the old dieing woman and unborn baby. just go away and die coir scum. ye're nothing but a cult!

  • coir are the best and the funniest.

The No will all be down to them.

  • that's the sad thing about it, i believe it will be another no because coir had to stoop down to fictional scaremongering. i thought the difference between this year's referendum and last year's was that this year's was supposed to be fought on fact

  • Neuro that is a lie on your part. No Coir founder has been to Nazi rallies. Retract that remark.

  • FIRST CLASS!

  • more idiot drivel

  • Well done coir! Brave people who face a torrent of abuse daily from our rotten "liberal" media.------so "liberal", they cant tolerate opinions that differ from their own.

  • Hahaha LOL!! Brilliant!

  • COIR are nothing but a bunch of lying uber-catholic fascists. One of the founders has been to Nazi rallies in Europe. And they want us to trust THEM?I don't think so...

  • you think THEY're lying?

Where were the "Yes for Jobs" posters last time?

Oh! That's right! There was none because the Lisbon treaty has nothing to do with generating jobs!

Then why is that the entire yes campaign?

  • there's jobs to be created in the green sector and research & development, and above all, the treaty makes full employment a legal objective.

  • green? yeah right. then why are they puting euratom, the european atomic agency above the irish constitution?? and that wasnt in the amendment in june. thats got to be a kick in the nuts to john gormley. nuclear power is the only thing cowen cares about so he snuck it into the amendment.

  • i really hope we get a no vote i no the government has put alot of tax payers money into the yes votes which i think is a waste of money how many signs do you need to be bullied into a yes vote i wouldnt trust one of them as they are a bunch of assholes who dont give a shit about irish people big answer is(money)we cant sit down like always and let them pricks do what they want,we need to stand up and actually do more now than ever,i love my country but not government dont need lisbon vote no

  • Vote no to Lisbon - yeah right we can do without the EU - I'm not political but I'm wide enough to know that were going to keep on voting until 'yes' also wide enough to know that coir treat the Irish intelligence with as much contempt as the government will ever do - trust yourself not any of these idiots.

  • wide?

  • You guys are doing a mighty fine job, its a credit to you and all the other no campaigners. Thank you all for releasing true information. I hadn't a clue what it was all about because our Governments mumblings, I can see now why they mumble, now they base the sole reason on a threat?

I believe you guys have one last job to do, all you guys on the no side should step in during the vote counting process to ensure no rigging takes place.

    No to Lisbon.

  • You can check my video; Vote Yes to Lisbon ?

6.38 minutes that will hopefully inform you on what should concern us all.

Please feel free to rate and comment.

    Many thanks

    No to Lisbon.

  • i said it many times but i'll say it again...

the EU's hope rests on Irish shoulders

most of the EU citizens count on you guys and i am one of them

  • EU= fascism

  • WHAT A STUPID THING TO SAY,

A RESOUNDING NO VOTE TO MORE LIES

on prime time lastnight. A NO VOTE IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD , NO NO NO NO

  • A RESOUNDING NO TO LIS/CON AGAIN

  • Spoof Coir posters - classic.

Google: Coir blimey (Can't post the link here)

  • so uhmm. those *official* fishing figures...link?

  • NO TO LIES - NO TO LISBON

Don't trust the our self-serving Elite who want to sell the country for a few Euros!

  • According to the eminent law Professor and Lisbon treaty/constitution expert K A Schachtschneider (University of Nuremberg in Germany)the referendum provides the Irish people with a LAST CHANCE to defend freedom, equality, fraternity, democracy, the rule of law and social welfare provisions for all people in the EU.

Without an Irish No, all people in Europe face exploitation, war and injustice. The Irish have the opportunity to save human dignity in Europe.

    Think about that PLEASE !

  • oh please... are you in the Yes version of Coir?

  • I'm from Germany where most are opposed to Lisbon !

    Google these sites :

Project Indect (EU funded project to monitor You-tube,Facebook,blogs,PC's etc.for "abnormal behaviour")

    EGF (EUs Para-military)

    Sitcen (EUs secret service)

    Europol (EU cops granted immunity)

European Arrest Warrant (now being abused for non-serious crime, see : Fair Trials international).

No decent, freedom loving European wants this kind of EU !

Say NO 2 Big Brother and Lisbon !

  • Sorry, I misread your message.

  • Can we trust the bishops?

  • Are you kidding?

Not one Bishop went hungry during the famine, or since ......

The gravy train has it's own carriage for those pricks!

  • Ireland, for all our sakes, please vote NO, again.

Can you imagine ... President Blair? Oh, for fucks sake.

  • Good stuff!

  • ..very well done. We who Rust no longer Trust.

  • You know the worst part?

I'm from Lisbon, and I didn't get the chance to vote either.

    They are fucking Portugal up.

  • NO Non Nein Niet NO Never.

  • I wouldn't trust that shower running Leitrim County Council, never mind going to Brussels to negotiate such an important Treaty. Vote No to save Ireland from EU dictatorship and to save democracy as we know it.

  • Comment removed

  • love coir you just cant beat their funky posters love seeing all the geeks getting so angry at their passion they are a dying breed anyway as they have little or no kids hahahahaha

  • Very good Vid, alot of very good points i had not known.. Was going to vote NO anyway but now i def am! thanks guys!

  • its about time we the irish stand up & vote no a second time round as they wont take no for an answer,im sick of it all it makes me very angry that we have come to this again,if we had a better government running our country with fresh ideas to help us not them selfs we wouldnt be in this mess where into day,all they have to go by is lisbon it bales out ireland its going to take more than that, its a no for me as the yes is been forced on us with our own money which we dont have funny that

  • coir = sin fein.

  • Quote from BreakingNews ie:

"IBEC is calling on Coir to remove the posters following an interview by Coir spokesman Brian Hickey on RTE's 'Drivetime' programme in which he said that the Lisbon Treaty would "have no effect" on the Irish minimum wage.

    Coir = Can't trust them!

  • BS - the free market will decide Irish wages in the EU Superstate...

  • Coir admit to lying 1.84 minimum wage.

The validity of the no campaign will be in shreds by Monday morning. Ha Ha!

    Vote YES

  • xardoxify, while u are right about COIR being a bunch of nuts we could all do without having, COIR only represents a very small minority of the no side, i would say about 5%. Irelands abortion stance was blow outta porportion to hid the fact that ireland legitimately rejected the treaty. This was a lie and a dirty tactic used to get another referendum. Yes or No vote regardless, europe isnt going to help us shake off our catholic facism, we gotta do that ourselfs. Vote No.

  • xardoxify - is an EU shill. He cannot debate the facts nor the content of the treaty so he chooses posts insulting comments everywhere! NO TO LIES AND MISREPRESENTATION AND LIES!!!

VISIT MY CHANNEL FOR SOME ALTERNATIVE VIEWS & LISBON TREATY FACTS

  • They say vote yes for the ECONOMY; now let's not speculate here. How has the EU helped us in our current difficulties? Where are all these jobs? How did the EU protect jobs in the last 18 months? Why is the Polish economy the best performing in the EU? (I suspect its something to do with DELL and the like). Mark my words: THE RACE TO THE BOTTOM IN EUROPE IS ON FOLKS!!!

  • did you not hear that barroso has announced €14.8 million for the dell workers?

  • NEWS JUST IN - the EU has in the last hour (Saturday and all) announced they have a new fund for DELL workers...... Buy me Mr. Barrosso, buy me! To put this into context € 15 million would barely cover lunch money for the Dell employees and the others that are out of jobs because of these relocations!!! - (this comment has been sponsored by the NWO)

  • Yo pillowcase.....

    ...........can't touch this

    HAHAHA WAWAWA.....stop.... waaeaamer time

    woooaaaa, waaeaa, waaeaa lol

  • Brillant

  • Apparently voting "yes" will lead to the re-opening of the Magdalene laundries, the invasion of Ireland by German, Turkish and Austrian armies, increased flatulence in pubs in Sneem, as well as the replacement of our health service with the French model of health care.

But, of course, this video is so xenophobc, tourists will probably be turned away at Dublin Airport from now on.

  • Pure class!

  • "They died for our freedom"

Yes, using guns supplied by the German Kaiser and smugguled into the country by the great freedom fighter and homosexual Sir Roger Casement.

  • ireland has always benefited from Europe and Liberals.

    Vote YES.

  • Say No to slave labour.

    No to Lisbon

  • What Article in the treaty says there will be "slave labour"?

There is none! Get your facts right.

Vote YES and give two fingers to scaremongering lies.

  • The world "slave labor" was not used in the treaty but the race to the bottom in Europe is on. One of the only countries to benefit economically from EU membership was Ireland - these days are now over. We are not cheap enough to win - and because we do not have our own currency wecurrently have no choice but to "adjust" our lifestyles. It's a big world folks! We really need to think about this one...

  • "Who is telling you to vote Yes to Lisbon? Can you trust them?"

who is telling us to vote no! hmm lets see! sinn féin, socialist party, liebertas and cior boys. oh and did i mention the british pro-commonwealth anti-eu nazis who want us to vote no. yeah ill think ill stay away from you no bunch.

  • COIR ARE SCAREMONGERING NAZIS!!!!

  • cant trust them?!!! you fucking hypocrites! go away and die you coir scum. with your stupid scaremongering

  • Comment removed

  • are you that gullible to believe the €1.84c minimum wage? it is not on the treaty, the e.u. does not decide minimum wage, our government does! think about working for that wage, imagine doing a 40 hour week, you'd roughly get €75 for it if thats the case. you wouldn't do your weekly shoping for that, you wouldnt have a nice house, barely have a car etc etc. and you dont know what collins would think of this treaty. dont use "they died for your freedom" bullshit

  • so, here we go again. are we living in a "united states of europe?" where all states have equal rights under the constitution?

if thats the case, let brussels understand that we have allready voted on this treaty. and we rejected it.

if they cant respect a members decision, what hope has europe got in the long term?

its begining to look more like a dictatorship than a democracy to me!

  • The reason we are having another refurendum on Lisbon is because people voted no based on false information spread by coir which was not based on what is in the Lisbon treaty.

Now they are at it again by turing the refurendum on Lisbon into a refurendum on the government.

Vote YES for the right reasons on the next government will have to run Lisbon 3.

  • What the brave and bullied Irish have NOT been told is very interesting. Perhaps Ireland's politicians and the un-elected "elite" in Brussels "forgot" to mention that massive bits of the infamous Lisbon treaty/constitution will not effect GERMANY or AUSTRIA ! Why not ? Because the Constitutional Courts of these two countries stood up for their citizens and built in protections and safeguards against Brussels !

You can read the German Court ruling and it's HUGE implications at No2Lisbon2.

  • My God, readin a lot of nonsence here.. Good to see we now have broadband in all our mental hospitals. KNOW MEANS NO. work it out veggies!! ha ha

  • it was an insult to me and those who voted NO last time... EU are dictators.. we are no longer Irish but Europeans... i want to be Irish again.. NO to Lisbon.. and shag this government..

  • ahhhhaaaa..my god. I had to laugh at 1.42 where it states "find out the facts".

This crowd coir are a shady non-entity.

How many jobs have they created??

...the answer is sweet F all.

  • dont trust the government but trust Europe. the can compete with China and the USA

  • I did not see one of the highest paid governments in the world take a pay a pay cut but I must pay an Income levy to try and sort out the debt that they intiated.

Europe, at least tries to look after their people

  • Remember, Ireland needs the EU more than the EU needs a small piece of land on the edge of Europe

  • VOTE NO!

I am Polish, I lived in Ireland and nevertheless I don't think mass-immigration is any good for Ireland or any other country! Idea of taking masses of "Turd Worlders" into Europe and spreading them all over is simply disgusting. Problems with them would be 10 times as severe as with Polish or any other Europeans.

    VOTE NO! PLEASE!

We don't need European superstate - we don't want it!

  • We are less racist in Europe than any other place in the world and it is not doing us any good! Check Japanese immigration policy - it is next to impossible to obtain permanent residence, unless you got a Nobel prize or something like this. That is because they want Japan to stay Japanese. How long Europe will stay European with all those brown Muslims who hate the Western way of life?

  • a resounding

NO TO LIS/CON 2, AND FIANNA( FAIL)

two birds with the one stone. :)):))

  • Yes you can't trust Irish governments, because in two referunda the Irish people voted in favour of allowing Irish women to have abortions in limited circumstances but no government has implemented laws allowing this.

The Irish people are not been listened to when it comes to giving vunerable women the right to abortion when they are in danger.

Demand that the government listen to the people and let women have abortions in Ireland when they are in danger!

  • This video is pathetic. It says absolutely nothing about what the Lisbon Treaty is or how it will help Ireland. Coir just can't deal with the truth.

We need the EU because otherwise Ireland will be left isolated with only Brian Cowen and other failed Irish politicians to direct our policies.

The blatant racism at the end of your video is particularly disturbing.

  • it show's how much the people you trust lie lie lie lie and lie some more. Ireland needs to leave europe

  • What and that will stop Sleezy Politicians???

All of a sudden we will miraculously have

    honest Politicians?

    LOL LOL

  • Comment removed

  • liberal politicians who have sold there souls over to a corporate materialistic influenced perception of freedom... we need another adolf to correct all the problems people like you have brought to our soil... consume consume i love seeing all the people that i know and love wake up to the fact that they have been fucked up the ass

  • Boycott Ryanair , it's a private corporation subverting democracy in ireland !

  • As such, the ECJ won't care about the guarantees being deposited with the UN.

  • I don't believe the Referendum Commission on the guarantees because on September 3rd 2008 in a case related to UN Security Council Resolution 1267 (freezing the assets of a foundation linked to Al Qaida), the ECJ struck down EU Regulation EU Council Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 that was implementing it. The ECJ said:"an international agreement cannot affect the allocation of powers fixed by the Treaties or, consequently, the autonomy of the Community legal system".

  • Hmmm. Get the feeling a lot of the people commenting here are members of Coir, not just randomers who happen to be enthusiastic about the video.

  • Wasn't Pat Cocks former ceo or chairman of BP up until July of this year......... And isn't P Sutherland now incharge... So where is the money coming for Ireland for Europe then? hmmmmm

  • Hmm. What a deluded "half wit" you are. Still waiting on the Racism claim?

  • loling at u sir ukip

  • Fianna Fail destroying a perfectly good country for 80 yrs !

I will be voting No again !

  • It doesn't matter how many people vote no. It'll be rigged 'good 'n proper' this time 'round.

  • First they take our Central Bank and now they're back for our Democracy. Not to mention the fish!

  • Siucra; Touchy aren't we when presented with facts? Lavel PWD were judged becasue those countries have no law on these issues, so ot went to Europe to decide, we do! The Referendum Commission has agreed €1.84 is nonsense.

So name a country that Nice, Maastricht introduced abortion to? Eh? Eh? that's right none! Not to mind the racism implied in this video

  • Racism in this video. And where would that be? you political correct tosser.

Oh and not to mention you're poor grammer.

  • Campaign obviously going badly? I can't see too many on the hustings warming to abuse

  • Well if youre so well up on this you know only too well that Declaration 17 of this treaty gives the rulings of the ECJ primacy over our laws and therefore they can introduce whatever law on minimum wage they please and actually they can introduce whatever law they like on anything for that matter, if you dont already know this LOOK IT UP but I suspect you do and youre being deliberately misleading, like all the yes side not to menton their bullyboy scaremongering and total lack of democracy

  • Name one country that the ECJ has introduced a law on the minimum wage so far. If you look up Lisbon you'll see that new EU laws are initiated in each parliament and that it requires consent by the Dail for such a law. AT present laws are not made at ECJ but interpreted after parliament has passed. Where in the treaty does the ECJ get the power to make laws??

  • He he no alls well actually I can't see many people warming to you lot though, have politicians ever been more unpopular? Still one cant expect to be popular when lies/misleads the public, steals from public purses etc., and just as an aside the Washington Post ran a feature of the Lisbon campaign today, interesting to get an outside point of view since they're not in the EU anyway it said Yes side were lying through their teeth to bulldoze this through. Good to get an impartial perspective eh!

  • Remember: it is the exact same treaty as last year's, all that is different are the "POLITICAL PROMISES" we have been given - and we all know what they're worth!!!

  • Nothing, they arnt worth the paper they are printed on, why? Because Lisbon is a self-amending treaty, it can be changed after the fact to circumvent any 'Political Promises' they made in order to get a YES vote.
