  • I would try to solve your problems by changing your setup.

    What setup are you running?

You can find a lot of setups for different tracks on the internet.

    For instance on RC10.com

  • Hey guys I got SC10 but can't figure out why is it good for racing when it got such massive body roll. Friend of mine beats me in corners with his Stampede all the time. Still like the SC10 tho.

  • that track is pretty awesome

  • it's not even a contest. a slash will always win.

  • @Tsims1996 Ohahahaha. You're funny. (:

  • @Tsims1996 at the tracks i race on the slash has never won an a main,,,,,,that should tell you a thing or three about how well it works and how well the other trucks work . total wins for slash=0 total wins for sc10=53 total wins for blitz=4 total wins for strike =0

  • @CLANKILLER007 But how well does it do vs an open wheeled car such as the Losi XXX-T ect? I haven't been racing RC for quite a while now. Dropped out before Brushless and LiPo was even out. These SC trucks are new to me.

  • @Tsims1996 the slash has never won a race at the track i race on.(over 100 races so far)

  • Little update, at our local club the amount of short course riders has grown

and grown and grown. The vast majority of the riders is using a Slash.

There are just 2 sc10 riders, I don't race short course (only 2wd truck, 2wd buggy and 4wd buggy) but I have tried them both. For me the SC10 feels a lot better on the track. It jumps better, steers better and is quicker of the line. The Slash is a good compromise if you want a durable car that gives great bang for you buck.

  • Very nice. I own an sc10 and a sc10 and a slash and the sc10 tires are the choice of all of the winners at our local track. The stock slash tires won't hook worth a shit on carpet (in the winter we race on an indoor carpet track) and you finish almost dead last minus 5 laps if you run the stock slash class. That's my 2€. The sc10 tires own the slash. And it can't be the driver because the same driver drives both. :p

  • someone driving with a stick radio,,,,,, wow

  • crappy lap...

  • i have both the slash is more of a basher then a racer

  • bad slash drivers and good sc10 driver only reason why people think the sc10 is better

  • @graysonsannchez432 And because it handles better, looks better (to me at least), and is more tunable whilst stock.

  • fair play. ;)

  • who said a slash couldnt loose

  • Say what you want THEY all look equal to me.

  • @olechevy In a stock class they are pretty close to equal. In those instances it's mainly driver ability. Once you start entering the mod classes, the slash starts falling behind because of the amount of tuning it requires to be competitive with the sc10 or Blitz. Things like low-cg chassis', Pro-Line suspension systems, etc.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE agree totally

  • Sc10 owns the slash at the track

  • Finally, some good, competive drivers on a good track!

  • sweet track!

  • the only reason a stock sc10 might beat a stock slash is because of the tires

  • What? The SC10 tires are the worst tires I have ever owned. They give no traction whatsoever unless you are on a perfectly watered and tacky track. The true reason an SC10 would beat a Stock Slash is because it has much better: steering geometry, center of gravity, shock geometry, and also a weight advantage.

  • damn traxxas drives cant resist running into everything.

  • that is a nice track, set up very well.

  • Those three are pretty good drivers.

  • That track looks perfect for the short course trucks .

  • who one

  • how many slashes or how many sc10s?

  • looks like a lot of fun.
