my recommendation on 5th boss, keep 2-3 invisibility potions, use them and Whip the boss until he's dead.. it's the fastest, most effective way I have found of beating that Alien Dinosaur

@melosebrainuhoh You can if you move to the right of his shield and hit him then move to the left as the boss jumps to avoid the spread shot coming down! Put in Aqualung game reviews and you'll see it on his review of this game.

i disagree with AVGN about this game.  This game rocks, it almost reminded me of Blaster Master, Another Sunsoft game.

I always thought the way the screen got dark in this and Blaster Master during a boss fight made it seem more epic. Here you are in a room that is now dark, the only thing you can see are you, the boss, and weapons fire.

The NES era will always be my favorite era of games. The sounds the music the gameplay, most modern games cant match it

There were a lot of issues with this game. The mechanic of having random downgrades just heaped in with piles of items was a bad call. The enemies respawned at really bad times, the arc of the guns made corridors impossible to navigate, continuing was pointless. Blaster Master at least solved a lot of those problems and even had the bonus of the vehicle and side scrolling bits.

i hated the random downgrades that was just BS putting that in a game. Like the Poison Mushroom on the Famicom version of Super Mario 2.

I think sunsoft should pull a capcom and release an 8 bit Blaster Master sequel for the WII PS3 and Xbox Live.

Third boss is a cake, but fourth hahaha i could never beat it in my console until i discovered the invincibility potions, but then the game got harder and could just beat it using an emulator and saving every 30 seconds xD

You just have to keep picking up gun powerups, the triangle bullets is it's maximum level.

The trick with the upgrade is: You only collect the blue ones, they upgrade your weapon. Red ones downgrade it.

Basically I used PsxMC, Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker 2. I also recorded some of the CG Animations from my dragon warrior 7 disc (using PsxMC) and incorporated those into the intro videos.
