I feel like the lineup should have had Adu and Kljestan in places to be the fulcrom of the attack. Adu should have been in between and behind Altidore and Cooper and Kljestan should have been deep in midfield between Clark and Mastroeni. Adu and Kljestan were the most creative players on the field that day and needed to be in a better position to show it. Instead of being out wide, they should have been in the center. Although, it was really the same effect, as they both had a good game.

Oh! I nearly forgot to mention. The finishing from the players needs to get better. They tested the goalie alot out there but there were some opportunities, like the one before Kenny's goal, that should have at least been put on target. On the other hand there were moments of brilliant finishing, such as Freddy's goal. Thats to be expected when you play with younger players. They can be brilliant and bad at the same time. They'll grow in to the team soon enough. Sacha was my MVP.

First thing is this was a success in terms of whether or not the young talent could perform under pressure. Guatemala needed a win, along with some other factors, to advance. Like the commentator said they were expected to come out with a fighters mentality. The U.S. did well. Every ones been wanting Jozy and Kenny on the field. For good reason. They've never played on the same team, and yet that first goal was perfection. The second goal, well, you deserve it Freddy, and what a way to get it.

A pretty fair game, and no crazy fouls like last time. Kjlestan had a number of chances, but no luck; whereas, Adu was playing great the entire game, and that paid off. Cooper's goal was great, as well.
