I agree on Soviet supremacy in the east. In the west the Soviet allies drew off a large portion of ground forces. The USAAF & RAF bombing attacks & fighter sweeps kept much of the Luftwaffe off the backs of the Soviet Army. They were aided by the fact that the German naval threat had been completely occupied by the Allied navies.
