@superbrand8 depends on condition, year, and what options. ie. a factory 440 car is gonna be more expensive than a 318 car. restored challengers probably average 25,000 (low end) to 60,000+ (high end). We got a complete fixer upper 73 challenger that needs complete restoration for 3,500 so deals are out there (but keep in mind 1972-74 were not the most sought after years which in most peoples minds belong to 1970-71 ;) but ours is a factory 340 car which was a plus! Hope that helped man ;)
My Dream is to get a 1970 Dodge Challenger, take out the engine, put in a 392 Hemi or a 472 Hemi, a Paxton supercharger, automatic transmission, top of the line anti-sway suspension, racing tires, custom rims, new black leather interior, air conditioner, new radio, a new sound system, and paint the car orange with racing stripes!
Now you get to buy new tires idiot!
