  • does any one have a video of this?

  • Does anyone have a vid of the Tampa 2011 production?

  • @mickeyfan5534 I also ask this question. I have a recording of the Broadway version (the one now floating around on YouTube) but being able to see the more dated material would be awesome. :)

  • @GVirus14 I heard that Tampa 2011 was the best edition of it. Is that true.

  • @mickeyfan5534 I wouldn't know; I haven't seen any version live, and I've only seen the Broadway version in general. I want to see the Tampa version, and if ANYONE has a copy of the official Broadway.com recording, LET ME KNOW.

  • @GVirus14 there's no vid of it... (you can see clips of it in the preview for Tampa); It was going in the right direction but to be honest (saw both Tampa prods & bway) was a mess with tons of plotholes, sort of embarrassingly bad plotholes (but the overall plot was way better). This song was a highlight, staged beautifully and little Carly would make anyone cry. I posted "Worst Day" from the 2011 version (audio) on my channel for those who want to listen!

  • Do Alice and her husband (Jack) get back together at the end? I know that in the beginning they are separated. And I know that the White Knight Jack dies saving Chloe. Can anyone tell me? I haven't seen it yet and I would be heart broken if Alice ends up alone. Yes, I know she still has Chloe, but that's different!

  • @SileRois27 Yes, Jack and Alice end up making up in the end.

  • @GVirus14 YEAH!!!! I Love Happy Endings!!! XD

  • @SileRois27 wait, does this mean that in this song chloe had been saved during together? and that it wasn't alice who was held at knife point?

  • @agenttheater5 I thought it was Chloe but Wiki says that Alice was held at knife point, I think I guess I was wrong. I haven't seen it yet, but I want to so BAD!!!

  • @SileRois27 there's something of a video on youtube, but its the version before heroes, and in that version of together alice doesn't enter the scene until the end of the song, so I think they changed the order of events a bit as well.

  • @agenttheater5 Okay. That makes more sense.

  • Sorry, I'm pretty sure that I heard that they ended up singing this song on broadway, I mean, as this is the broadway cast recording. But anyway, thanks for answering all my questions, sorry that I asked so many. I've never seen this show but really like it. So sad about Jack. And the early closing of the show. Thanks again!

  • @agenttheater5 nah they had a dinky reprise of "Home" which wasn't sad and just sort of rushed to the ending... this song was amples better

  • Is this when alice and chloe say goodbye to wonderland?

  • @agenttheater5 I think so, though this wasn't used in the Broadway show; they sang "Home (Reprise)" instead. But this song was mourning Jack's death, as well, I believe, as they prepared to leave Wonderland.

  • What I also meant was, is the Jack from the "real world" in this scene? You know, the one alice and chloe are with at the end? Does he know about wonderland?

  • @agenttheater5 All of the events in Wonderland take place in Alice's dreams. Therefore, no, Jack (Husband) wouldn't know about Wonderland.

  • @GVirus14

    Oh.

  • Yeah, but what about in the broadway production? and by either jack I meant jack the white knight or jack from the real world? Are either of them in this scene?

  • @agenttheater5 I think the Broadway production is a little different. Alice confronts the Hatter, who has Chloe captive. The Queen and Co. arrive, she utters "the ultimate decree", and condemns the Hatter (who STILL has Chloe) to the Underworld. Jack the Knight rushes in and switches spots with Chloe, essentially sacrificing himself.

  • @GVirus14 In the Tampa 2011 edition the Hatter stabs and kills Jack, Alice tried to use the Rabbit's clock to reverse the time but it didn't work. So the Queen ordered the Hatter to be beheaded, then as they sing "Heroes" the knights carry Jack off stage and then Alice wakes up from her dream.

  • @shaqman145 Yes, but in Broadway, the above happens. This song isn't actually in the Broadway show, I believe...

  • Is either Jack present in this scene?

  • @agenttheater5 Jack in the Tampa of 2011 version where this song was in is killed in the final chess match between the Hatter and Alice. This is the song lamenting his death!

  • some of these songs are really inspirational.
