  • dats 1 terrible pour

  • funny

  • Guinness beer?!

Jesus christ lad guinness is stout not beer. Blasphemy that is....

  • $4 for a can here (Australia)

  • You would have flogging molly playing on a video like this...love it.

  • Thanks for that. I acquired a taste for Guiness while over in Ireland Sept '10. I buy the cans now , expensive here though. I wondered how to pour it from the can and decided after a few experiments, that the way in this video is the best. Also dont like drinking it cold as is the way over here in Oz. It loses its flavour when too cold. I told the girl behind the bar not to pour my beer from the can the way she was and she said "no no no you dont do that".Good on tap here but often its too cold

  • good song

  • NO WRONG GLASS

  • Jesus what a disaster. You pour none.

  • This video is blasphemy. I'm pretty sure this isn't how to pour a Guiness. You can't just use any beer mug. It has to be a Guiness glass.

  • @rafattu Correct, sir. I tried pouring Guinness into a non-Guinness glass and it cried. Never heard a beverage cry before. Made me sad. I drank it quickly to put it out of it's misery.

  • BRILLIANT SONG CHOICE! favourite band and favourite drink, perfect

  • ping pong ball

  • guiness suckds

  • 7.75 for a pint in Canada.

  • @applejuiced ??????

  • Can you drink it right from the can. Are there instrustions.

  • That is how NOT to pour guinness.

  • 10 dollars a six pack long neck bottle here in floriduh. Much love to ya , I'm havin a Guiness right now in honor of all of you, cheers lads and lasses! To your health!

  • dropkick murphys are better

  • I wouldn't say better, about equal.

  • this video looks so much better if you wait till it all loads, then grab the dot and move it back and forward, looks like the guiness is pulsing lol.

  • hmmm i see why mine looked so clean. the two stage pour huh?

  • may the reason for me not getting a big enough head be that there isnt much space left in the glass when i finish pouring? ie when i finish pouring the can in to my glass, its almost full and the head wont rise much above the top of the glass?

    thanks for ur replies

  • Folgging Molly is the shit!!! Guinness for strength

  • oh yeah that's a given

  • I try to be close to the bar so I can watch them pour it, If its done right, it gives me a couple of minutes to meet new folks. Cheers!

  • Beersuckers...

    I have to agree!

I like to dump the can into the glass as fast as it can go, then sit back and watch the show

Also I know lots of my Guiness brothers suggest a 2-stage pour from the tap.

And while that works the problem is that if I order a pint and it comes to me and there is no sign of it setteling because the guy did the 2-step pour I always think that the beer could have been sitting around for hours before they gave it to me.

I like the show that tells me its fresh

  • I have just tried this with a tulip glass and from a can it works much better than the two stage pour.

and im a real critic of bad guinness

  • So simple, yet perfect!

The head looks great and the beer is settled and looks delicious as ever.

  • Flogging Molly and Guinness hell yeah.

  • Oh my god! That's the worst way of pour a Guinness! Never heard something about 2-times-pour? And u use a bad glass too! what a waste :(

  • Okay, A couple of points...

    1) Yeah, technically, you'd have a tulip glass... but... most "regular" folk don't have a ton of tulip glasses lying around... most people have beer mugs or regular glasses

    2) Have you tried the way we pour it????? We love Guiness and would much rather drink it on draft with the proper 2 step pour... BUT... from a Can?.. .that crappy way they describe on the can comes nowhere close to the taste of Guiness on tap. SO....

  • 3) We have found - Through MANY, MANY, MANY experiments, that the best way to pour a Guiness from the CAN is to just up end it and chug it away... Holding it at a 45 degree angle gently for a while and then letting it sit and then topping it off, DOES NOT come close to the taste of Guiness on DRAFT....

Guiness is my favorite beer. I've been drinking it for over 20 years and this is the best way, I feel, to get as close to real draft Guiness as possible, from a can

  • 4) Of course, you could always make your own video and show us all the REAL way to do it:)

  • @beersuckers

Guinness is a Stout, dawg! Not a beer! :D

  • your a wanker... this is a fcking awesome way pouring from a can! Good stuff beersuckers!

  • @zorg87 2 times pour is only for draught, the can has a little ball in it so u just pour str8 in and all the same

  • Comment removed

  • @zorg87 You can't even spell 'Guinness'! - So I doubt you're an authority on it love!

  • @zorg87 You r only supposed to do a 2part pour on tap. Out of a can, 1 part pour is the best because the nitrogen widget will be losing nitrogen while the beer is settling during a 2part pour. Pouring the out of a can straight down is the best way because the nitrogen widget does not last long and it's best to pour the beer as quickly as possible to get a nice creamy head. Pouring it on tap is of course a different story where you would need to wait 2 min for the beer to settle before 2nd pour.

  • how do you pour from a bottle the same?

  • your using the wrong bottle for guinness. get a tulip bottle mate.

  • Isn't that the Dropkick Murphy's?

  • No, it's Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Molly...

  • what's the price of a guinness in the us??

  • They are one dollar and seventy five cent per can where I am.

  • thnks dude, here we get them.. hummm.. it would be like at three dollar 50 cent... kind of expensive, but it definetly worths it

  • I pay 8.50 for a 4 pack here in north jersey, so ridiculous. It is worth every penny in taste but still 8.50 hurts.

  • Dang, that is high. Is that because of taxes on beer in jersy?

  • I'ts the beer, if I drive a little bit I can get 7.50 but when you want it you want it you know? lol

  • Just bought a 4-pack draught can, 12.99$ Canadian....that is brutal... :(

  • Holy crap. That is outragous. I think thats a little over 10 bucks American. What is the ABV, they make some that is not available to my area.

  • Oh I think it was 4.2% ? I know it's brewed by Labatt in Canada...actually if I recall correctly, I think Labatt does all the Guinness brewing for all of North America. But what can one do when a pint of Guinness at a pub is 8.00$ Canadian...Even when our dollar was on par with the US$..prices were the same.. brutal huh?

  • indeed. I pay 12.99 U.S. for an 8 pack, but let me tell you it is well worth it.

  • You are correct sir. They are hard to beat.

  • In Ireland, theres a pub in Lehinch, co.clare on the west coast.. its a famous seaside area, as it has the largest waves in europe!

A pint in Frawleys here is 3 EUROS!!.. And if hes in a good mood, less.. Not even 5 dollars! As compared to spending nearly 6Euros for larger anywhere else

  • 6 EUROS???? thats fucking rediculous not even in cork or dublin do you pay more than 5.20 in the biggest poshest bars and i word in a snobby bar

  • The most expensive pint of Guinness I've ever seen in a pub: 6,50 euros. Bloody robbery.

  • @FNGamer haha, thats kind of regular price here in sweden, its not cheap though:P is it that much cheaper in finland? damn I live on the wrong side of the baltic sea...

  • @HermitoZ Hah, you poor Swedes. Nah, it's still as expensive as hell around here too. I'd say we're both living next to the wrong friggin' sea. The Irish Sea would probably be more like it...

  • @FNGamer at Temple Bar in "rush hour" --> 7.00 bucks. But i NEEDED one, ok? haha

  • @mabarian Ok, well if it was a case of serious emergency I think it's perfectly understandable... Haha, and it's still cheaper than around here!

  • @FNGamer Yeah, Temple Bar in Dublin

  • @FNGamer Ha. I paid 10 € last week.

  • @mads2k You really needed that pint didn't you?

  • @FNGamer

    Fuck.....it's only 2,50 here!

  • @elendil77 Lucky bugger...

  • @FNGamer stop imitating accents you ugric fuck

  • @TheClarenceter English isn't an accent you stupid Mick.

  • @FNGamer YES it is. What about...Manx, Scouser, Cockney, Cornish, Welsh, Yorkshire, Leinster, Ulster, Scottish all versions of English just alone?

  • @FNGamer look at the fucking stupid Finn going at accents.

  • @FNGamer Fuck they charged me the same yesterday. I was like "ahuh....." . Others charge 4 euros here in Greece. Supermarket prices are closer to 2.

  • @FNGamer in spain the can of ginnes cost 2 euros in the market

  • @FNGamer Bloody right it's robbery!!

  • @FNGamer As soon as something becomes a novelty or a household name...peopl will rip ya off big time...

  • beautiful... music and stout!

  • lol Molly and Guinness = love:P

  • Great pick of music to listen to while watching. Flogging Molly.

  • they are the best

  • I do love guinness when on tap. I'll have to pick up some cans and give this a try. Maybe it's all in the way it's poured.
