  • strawberry fields is ridiculous

  • look at all that pow!!!! and this doesn't even look like it was shot after a huge dump

  • i hate summer.

  • secret tip: there are a bunch of other resorts besides niseko which aren't as famous but have amazing powder runs as well.

  • wow guys your missing out on good old Pennsylvania mountains their pure ice!

  • the powder runs at niseko as shown in the video are tracked out quickly, even the secret ones take less than half day, probably due to the large amounts of powder hungry foreign + japanese ski bums teaching skiing/snowboarding. bonus is that you got shitloads of days with freshies and if you get first chair, powder fantasies go bonkers, probably even better than at mt baker, washington, usa due to lighter powder. place to go!

  • Go to hell

  • Good ski schools?

  • The shredder who drags his boots only raises pow.

  • Is there much backcountry guiding in Hokkaido japan

  • Yeah not as steep as some resorts. But with the 2nd highest snowfall out of any resort in the world if it was any steeper? there would be 2 many Avalanches.

  • i am so stoked, I go to niseko this febuary

  • nesikos mean with the powder but not that steep?

  • Yeah it is not so steep but with such a high snowfall there would be many slides..

  • France has good pow.:p

  • That stuff looks alot more fluffy that what we have in Euro land.

  • Id go Niseko for powder but Whistler 4 size..

  • Whistler or Niseko?

  • Whistler has some big runs but Niseko's backcountry powder is crazy...

  • loved Wild Bills.

  • Living as if you were to die tomorrow at it's finest :)

  • I love snow.:)

  • wow cool..wanna go there...

  • I had been in Niseko for snowbording. I live in hokkaido. Niseko has great powder snow!!!!

  • One of the American universities has done a research of the global temperature of the resorts across the board and Hokkaido came in 1st. The consistency of -10 degrees celcius is highest in Hokkaido so the days you get powder is more than anywhere else.

  • you better see this place

  • If Niseko is the second snowiest resort, where is the number 1? see you in January...!

  • vrm nice la poudreuse

  • It's true, indeed, that most runs are shorter and they are for beginners to intermediate, but the quality of snow is the best as far as I know. I missed snow very much. I like this video, by the way.

  • C'est une belle épaisseur mais ça manque d'amplitude

  • Well most of the best skiing in Niseko is backcountry and worth the effort to climb the peak and drop off the East face. There you will get 1000 metres of pure pow.

  • I skied Hokkaido when I lived in Japan, and it is true the powder is lovely. But the resorts are 75% beginner runs. They seem very safety oriented, plus the mountains just aren't very high. But the video looks great and brought back fond memories, thanks1

  • This is standard for Northern Japan.

  • Great powder !!! Is it ordinary quality/quantity in this part of Japan or it was a special year?

  • De La Poudre... DE La VRai!!!!

  • very nice, im missing the snow, cant wait to get back there :D

  • That's the best!!!

  • Very nice Good

  • looks like fun

  • Dream ride

  • oh, it's my dream!!!

  • woow that's awesome

  • i wish we could get some powder like that! the deepest I've ridden in was only like, one and a half foot high!!!

  • awesome although id be going backwards of course lol

  • anyone checked out 308? r the lucky bells still there

  • Its a Hot thermal volcanic spring - great after skiing all day.

  • Whats a onsen?

  • Dont forget to get over to the onsen at Weiss.

  • The Japanese people that i met in Hokkaido are so friendly and the food was very traditional

  • White Room....

  • Climb the peak and drop down to Jacksons... some of the radest shreddin I have done...

  • sic pow pow!

  • went there last year and ate out alot in in Kutchan... the snow was goin crazy when we were there... :)

  • I heard the powder in Niseko is super light?

  • Cant wait to get there for the New Years period this year.

  • coolest video in a while here

  • looks so big and empty (which is nice)

  • what's the background music? thx

  • Thats DJ Damo From Adelaide Australia

  • RAD POW

  • That looks so free and easy

  • WOW.. that powder looks rad...

  • rolling on the floor laughing equals rofl

  • i fly out on my way to niseko in about 8 hours =D

    so stoked!

  • thats sick

  • is niseko that powdery all season round?

or is it only powdery if your lucky

  • probably around 80% of the time.... It has the 2nd highest snowfall out of any resort.. With the powder conatining around 7% water... Go backside of the peak and u can get some deep fresh POW... :)

  • who's #1 and who's #3?

  • 1- Mt Baker: 641 inches = 16.2 metres.

    2- Niseko: 595 inches = 15.1 metres.

  • Welcome to Hokkaido with mountains and lakes!! Have nice trips!

  • I am heading there tomorrow!

  • awesome!
