I used to LOVE this game but now since Ive moved to a machine and the Windows 7 x64 platform from Windows x86 I am kinda stuck. I cannot run the game without errors relating .dat files. Turns out EA 'do not support 64bit operating systems' and so are not releasing patches to get the game to run on the 64bit platform. As of this I am stuck without being able to play it -_- EA cant code for shit and do not give a shit about their customers. Good luck planning to play this on 64bit OS's.

This is an RTS game. Real time strategy. It is not role playing game, or RPG.

RTS is when you control armies like that in the game, produce and move them strategically.

RPG is more like you controlling one guy, and trying to live your life in the game, making various decisions in how you want to proceed through your life in the game. There are some excellent RPGs like "Oblivion", and the most recent "Dragon Age Origins"

Bad use of attack mode in 3:00 of the mumakil, otherwise pretty good gameplay. Must be some sort of campaign because you are expecting reinforcements. In later versions nazgul and mumakil can kill your own guys so don't let them be in a mess! :D Thanks for a good video!

yep, there is a campaign map where you try to conquer the whole place with a faction. You can move armies around and create armies, its like a typical RTS game basically :)
