I wish kurt would have survived the barrage in the early nineties because i love pearl jam but kurt was just on a completely different level than any other human being. I'm glad at least edddie made it though.
Heard all the Nirvana albums and must say its quite overated compared to feks Vitalogy in my eyes. I think it would go the same way with them as with soundgarden and chris.
You kidding? Nirvana are lyrically and musically overrated, and were made ultrapopular by Kobain's death. PJ, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains are way superior grunge bands
i agree,. :D nirvana is one of the great bands that came out of the 90's,. but defntly not the great band out of it,. because everyone would argue about that,. all of them are good to listen to,. they each have their strong points,. but what separates pearl jam among the rest is that,. they endured time,. and made music the way they want to,. not the other way around,. thats why i could say that they are one of the greatest bands EVER,. not just out of the 90's,. gotta love pj,.
Totally fucking agree, Nirvana yes were good but very over rated and musically and lyrically don't match Pearl Jam, Soundgarden or Alice in Chains and also vocals Cobain don't even come close to Vedder, Layne and especially Cornell in he's prime
@DelphNZ No way.... Not dissing those guys, but Kurt Cobain was way more genius than Chris Cornell or Layne Staley. Plus he played guitar - it was a trio. It was like The Pixies crossed with The Beatles.
I was Sec 6 Row J seat 27, I was really close to you I think. The guy i was next to was recording with his camera so that may have been you. Great show to end the tour!
Did I hear 1992 come out of his voice towards the end there?

this is still a great version but the best one comes from Gorge Park in 2007. It's F'n good... Gorge Park is a must have.
