  • kinda low current .....casual notebook adaptor can make bigger effect

  • i put sizzers in one my whole body shuck

  • It will either short out the outlet or it will short you out.

  • ya knew better

  • haha nice name cheesebubbles

  • Your voice shorted out my ears.

  • that guy should not have done that, because stephen said so

  • I did that. An OCD thing...

  • At my high school in my senior year, I put metal in the socket with a notebook wire and sparks flew.

  • At least these kids aren't European. You think 120 volts hurts...

  • It can't shock you because it's easier for the current to go through the staple then through the person. The neutral is a direct path to ground with far less resistance than the the man holding it, so why would the current go through the man when it has a perfectly good low resistance path to ground through the staple?

Still a dumb thing to do though. Never know what could happen.

  • Well if the staple hits the hot side of the outlet first while hes holding onto it, then he will get shocked.

  • If he's grounded and only hits the hot side of it, then anorwood84 is right, he'll definately be shocked. One day this will happen and he'll realize his stupidity.

  • I think I've found the next candidates for the Darwin Awards!

  • lol

  • if he accidentally puts it in the small (negative) slot first, he could actually die

  • @trucksoner

no. the most output is 120 volts. a taser is 50,000 and that can't kill you.

  • @MrWilliamSandoval 120 volts certainly can kill you. the difference is the available amperage. the 15 amperes (or 20 if it's an american kitchen outlet) available in a household outlet is much greater than that available from a taser. also, a taser is DC electricity, which is less likely to stop your heart than AC (what a house has)

so yeah, a 120 volt outlet kills you sometimes (if you're grounded enough to carry at least 50 milliamps through you)

basically, the amps kill, not the volts

  • omg nick you are stupid!! haha jkjk umm yea this si robyn i no you no cuz i told you i was writing a comment so yea umm dont do tht again!!! haha umm miss you and hope to see ya soon luv ya!! .♥.♥.robynn.♥.♥.

  • love you too!!!!

    .♥.♥.radudman.♥.♥.

    LOLOLOLOL

  • Stupid idiot... ¬_¬

  • he wouldn't even feel a shock, because the current goes through the metal , not his body, but if he held one half of it in each hand, then he would most likely go into ventricular vibrilation and die.

  • one day he ended up melting notebookwire with that outlet. he got suspended, lol

  • @radudman he wouldn't die. 110 volts is nothing. It will just shock you. Try doing it with the UK's 240V.

  • This one is 110 volts.

  • LOL you're lucky you didn't die.

Whats the power supple in volts in the US?

  • you can die from our outlets, i have gotten shocked by the bare wires that go to the outlets.

i dont even know what the power supple is.

  • 110-210 Volts 15 Amps, yes it can easily kill you, if you get it right.

  • If you're wet it'll kill you.

  • @GaxAngel Deathly.

  • @GaxAngel 120 volts, max 12 amps.
