They are both, shimmer and matte - I have been trying to get my hands on the Naked Pallete FOREVER but I refuse to buy it off ebay and be ripped off so this is a food alternative until I get it & its only 10 bucks so its nice to have in your collection :)

I mainly think foundations and powders are worth the extra money cause thats the the main part of makeup is your foundation and face, so its nice to have higher quality stuff, especially if you have sensitive skin ( I don't ) but I like to splurge on foundations mainly. As for eyeshadows and sutff I feel its hit or miss, some higher end shadows aren't really that great, its all trail and error I feel with makeup but thats why I like it, I feel like a mad scientist! haha ;p
