  • That's so smart!!

Do you know how to store wooden rubber stamps?

  • Office Depot has the CD cases that will work. Also I go to thrift stores and buy old cd's etc just for the cases.

  • What a great idea! I've been saving old CD cases with a view to using them on SOMEthing, but have been unsure what! Now I know what I'll use them for! Thanks for the video.

  • Fabulous idea with the CD cases!

  • Great idea!!

  • OMG I want that cat stamp set you have lol!!!!! Its so cute & I love cats :)

    Great tip on cases TFS

  • great video and great storage suggestions i have a craft shed whwere storage is becoming a problem so the cd hint is great

  • I love the idea of keeping the stamps in cd cases but the only cd cases that I can find in the stores are jewel cases and they don't have an insert to remove. They are too thin and have the round indent of the cd so you can't put your stamps on them. Where can I find these thicker cases?

  • I bought mine on Ebay. That was several years ago but hopefully you can still find that old style of case.

  • AAAAAAAA..you just made my life easier! Thanks for the input.

  • Awesome idea! Thank you!!! :D XOXOX

  • thank you for the ideas, I am desperately trying to organize my studio, this will help!

  • Thanks for these videos! I have some wood stamps on their way to me and I'm trying to figure out the best storage after I unmount them. I was considering stamping them with Stayz On ink onto a transparency. Then, sticking them to the transparency and putting it into a page protector to keep them from falling out of my binder. I adapted it from what is done with clear stamps, but wasn't sure if it'd work for the rubber ones with the foam. Do you think this method would work? Thanks! :)

  • This is a well made well presented video. One word of caution CD cases and similar storage methods are highly acidic. Over a number of years this could cause your stamps to deteriorate. Depends how long you keep your stamps and how long you store them in this way. Just an archival issue really.

  • Very informative and well-done video! You make it look so easy! You've given me the encouragement to give this method a try! Thanks!

  • Great video!

  • Excellent clear instructions and graet ideas

  • Great ideas! I have added this informative video to my "Rubber Stampers" group. Thank you for sharing this valuable information!
