the first time i went on this ride i was sitting in the front and i was with my best friend and i screamed my butt off thinking it would be scary wen its one of the best rides at the park!! :D
this ride is scary ass hell back in the day i go t off and took my seat belt off and ran i still had to go in i was forced :( fuck that white bear i wish i could kill it
Walt was reluctant when imagineers came to him with the idea for the Matterhorn, telling them, "This is not an amusement park." However they showed him the guest comments that Disneyland needed some thrill rides and it immediately changed his mind. He was very interested in what people thought of his park.
Yes. The two sides give a different and unique experience. It's not like WDW's Space Mountain where the tracks are essentially exact mirrors, the Bobsleds race, cross over, and duel at certain points in the ride.
@Ryan120420 really! your lucky if they didnt yell at you. i brought mine on this one ride and they said not to use it because it could cause some difficulties with the performance of the ride! haha.. how lame.
Does the Fantasyland track pass under the Tomorrowland track shortly after the lift, since remember the Tomorrowland track is the left track on the lift hill, but is on the right after the yeti eyes, and vice versa with the Fantasyland side.
Does one cross under the other somethere before that?
i read this book that claims this isn't the first tubular steel roller coaster. it says it was a coaster in France with no name and it opened 3 years earlier
yes we know that...but im saying this isn't the first of its kind. the book i read was called, "Roller Coasters: A Thrill Seekers Guide to the Ultimate Scream Machines"
where is the hidden basketball court

@totaloffice123 This opened in 1959. Loops didn't return until 1975 after the concept was abandoned in the early 1900s.

I loved the Matterhorn the last time I've been to Disneyland. The Abomnible Snowman used to scare the crap out of me back when I was a little rascal!
