  • For my money, this is a greater shot than when he holed out on 16 to win the Masters.

  • He's history

  • That was pretty good I must say.

  • That is probably the best shot of its kind I have seen.

  • the greatest flop shot is in between his legs.

  • What's the song's name?

  • Phil hasnt hit a flop shot since this ball went in...

  • @PUArtista ahahahahahaha thats mint

  • Taking everything about this shot into consideration, it is undoubtedly the greatest flop shot I have ever seen.

  • Legendary

  • for me its the number one in golf for ever

  • holy nutt licker titty fuck!!!!! wtf!!!!!

  • 3 people have problems with flop-shots

  • which club did he use for that?

  • how did he do that?????

  • Thats not even a Flop Shot! The ball has to stay still.

  • @080197040 Not necessarily. A flop just puts backspin on the ball to keep it from rolling forward. But had he hit any other shot, the ball would have rolled off the other side of the green. Tiger used the backspin to slow the ball down.

  • @TheTooSmooth a flop shot has very little backspin. it just stops because the ball has almost no forward power. You hardly can't put backspin on a flop shot because of the open club face and the ball has a hard time getting in the grooves of the club. Besides, if it would be possible putting backspin on a flop shot, you should be able to spin te ball back on a flat green and you cant ( maybe a feet if you are really good). Still its an awesome shot!

  • @callawaydekluizen You rarely put spin on a flopshot because you don't have direct contact with the ball you are hitting it heavy that's why you need such a long swing ofcourse you can put spin on a flopshot you just need direct contact with the ball. "You hardly can't put backspin on a flop shot because of the open club face" what are you talking about? The open clubface would even encourage the spin you impart on the golfball. You don't know what you are talking about.

  • @TheTooSmooth Tiger used trajectory to get the ball to stop that quickly.

  • @080197040 LOL. That's a flop shot bro. When the ball shoots up like that and lands that softly it's called a FLOP shot. Thing is, that shot was IMPOSSIBLE to stop. Fast greens rolling down hill from the deep rough (equals impossible to just stop). The speed at which he landed was probably the slowest possible speed it could land at.... That may be the best flop shot I've ever seen in my life...

  • Very jealous 4me wat i#?

  • what a hacker

  • hahaha with the water behind, doesnt even think about it.

  • @aloefgren I know eh....so many variables working against him but he does that lol.

  • "It's like he knows the line, maybe he was aiming over there, who knows?"

Retarded commentator. Yes he knows the line. Yes he was aiming over there.

  • @canubelieve I think he meant he was aiming over there into the rough

  • Lmao at the guy with the blue chair, I just want to punch fags like that!

  • Even though his didn't go in, I think the one I posted by Phil is better because he is flopping it from off of the green. Search for Phil Mickelson flop shot on green.

  • Even though his didn't go in, I think the one I posted by Phil is better because he is flopping it from off of the green. youtube.com/watch?v=8KQ3PDDhFuw

  • woh

  • HAHAHA YEAH HE KNOWS THE LINE TO HOLE IT AS HE DID IN 1999

  • the shot for par buddy is talking about is not this one. That one was at Nicklaus' Memorial tournament in a different year

  • that is one of the best shots ive ever seen yeah its possible to do messin around in your back yard but to make it first try under pressure with water on the other side of the green thats just nuts

  • This shot was not for a par youre talking about another chip shot this is obviously a flot shot. Mickelson is very good at this type of shot but Tiger Woods is maybe even better?

  • You have to have a lot of confidence to hit this shot. Any average golfer would prolly blade it over the green into the water. thats why the pros are so good.

  • Anyone ever played a 60* with 4* of bounce? I don't know if I should choose 6 or 4?

  • You cant do that

  • thats what she said

  • they say phil can hit every shot in the book... tiger can hit every shot in the book when he has to... i love watching this shot

  • @komine866 Well, this shot was for par. He had to hit this shot to times. The first shot went about an inch...

  • he actually DOES know the line.. he duffed one before in early 2000 and then put it in.. he knows it

  • wow such belief in his own ability , he is a master golfsman

  • you cant do much better than tiger

  • FLOPADOPALUS (;

  • wow...

  • Shot after shot. Burning Bright, Tiger.

  • Incredible

  • lmfaooo the guy in the white shirt. hahahahahahaha

  • wow, amazing how he got it that high.

  • that's what she said, hehe

  • Is this at Jack's tournament, the Memorial?

  • Extreamly fast green that slopes away from him...

  • How come his flop shot rolls?

  • yh and the forward spin from tiger

  • really dude???? theres a gaint slope going towards the water that is making his ball roll......its pretty obvious...

  • Maybe?..... i'm not sure if there is a maybe about this being the greatest flop shot when you look at the degree of difficulty

  • haha look at the people in the back ground there more happy than tiger

  • He only read 11 out of the 12 breaks in that flop. Lucky.

  • i love this man. especially their comment about "he knows the line" i absolutely love it. i beleive this was the second time he holed out on that pin. bet thats how he knew the line. thanks for putting this vid up man

  • better than phil anyday

  • not yesterday

  • The fans are very close, right next to him and there is no security around ( as some places) when they jump and shout for joy.

  • hes not afraid to make mistakes and he's got great technique.. thats why he pulls off these shots more often than not

  • All the fucking fat fans go mad and he just goes and gets it outta the hole

  • He must be using cheat codes :)

  • lol

  • wippy do da. badass though

  • i would tell all the gallery to piss off

  • all the retards behind him are more happy then he is

  • unreal!

with water in the back... risky

  • I'm glad you told me, as I am in fact blind. It's nothing more than a remarkable coincidence that I got this far and correctly typed it.

  • Yet you still managed to watch the video?

  • Impressive, eh?

  • beauty flop shot

  • When was this? '99 Memorial, right?

  • Just in case you're blind, at the top is says very clearly "2004".

  • Beat that Phil.

  • Unfortunately, Phil won that Masters. Still a kick ass flop shot.

  • It wasnt the masters it was Memorial at Muirfield Village in 2000.

  • Well why, they are good im sure they can do it often, when I practice I get some in so they might get some too eg..

  • Well timealco, not if you practice it, but its and hard shot, I only use it if the surface of the green is short or if I have a bunker or water.. but nice shot tiger

  • Some pro players could practice that shot every day all day and still never hole it during competition!

  • OMG!

Anybody else try that and the ball ends up across the water or right beside him!!! Genius.

  • Wait... what?

  • thats beyond disgusting.

  • wtf?

  • What a flop shot!
