@keylitho Cool thanks .....I'm torn between the Quark and the mini. Btw other than what the box says, are you sure the preon is not titanium? 4 sevens claims it's polished titanium not anodized aluminum like the colored versions. My point is maybe they only made one box for all of them. I think that is a titanium light. Bummer it scratches like that though. Thanks for the vid!
The newer S2 versions are actually BRIGHTER than 160 Max lm since the S2 runs about 7% brighter than the R5 previously used. However, 4Sevens changed their advertising from Max lm in the throw to Max lm according to ANSI standards which (basically) take an average of lumens between the throw and the flood of the beam. Only downside to the newer S2 models is that they're a bit cooler and have a slight green tint to their light as well, but color rendition aside it is still brighter.
normal version can't do momentary though right ? ... as far as i know only tactical model does momentary on...

You should show it in complete darkness. Could not really tell with all the light around you.

Its titanium. The box is wrong. I have the preon 1 ti, and aluminium doesn't look like that, and it scratches differently.

Can you stand the Quark on it's tail? Or does the button make it uneven?

@MrChino303 Yes you can stand it on it's tail.... but if you get the Tactical version you can't.

Aluminum? What? The website says titanium. Very disappointing.
