  • I hear alot about how the TV series was better than the movie and the movie screwed up this and that or just screw up. I've seen the TVseries and I do think it's a little better, but I also think the movie did a very good job at not only bringing the vision to the big screen but also adapting the series into something that is acceptable for general audiences. although i think they could have done a little better with the dialog, but if it was a direct adaptation then it wouldn't be for everyone

  • thi scene made me laugh to tears

  • This part always made me laugh! XD

  • Ah, i get it. Normality, what is normal present as "reality". This isn't to say that this is how the objects are really, but how they are normally. :D

  • @hulk239239 they have them online-

  • The improbability drive sorta reminds me of a salvia trip hehe

  • I just realized that on the first one al the oohs and aahs were some form of chair and they were sofas

  • The TV series was much better than this more recent movie version. This version really screwed up the part about the turning on ceremony of the computer called Deep Thought.

  • I read enough about the movie that I knew not to even bother seeing it. Apparently, they removed many of Adams' best jokes. Sad.

  • Oh I wouldn't say that. He wrote most of it, and a lot of his spirit is kept in the film, the sofa gag, the guns, the guide entries are exactly the same. A lot of visual elements like the vogons run along the lines of an Adamish joke, the crushed up characters of politicians.

  • @bazookoidben Not really of politicians, but of these miserable little men, who generally work for govorment agencies, who spend their entire lives in a cheap suit, filling out pointless forms and making sure everybody else is as miserable as they are

  • @bimmjim HEY MAN!!!! 42!!!
