  • The Dewalt 28V platform is pretty much gone now. They stopped making the tools although they do still make a few 36V tools. Milwaukee is really the only one putting any development into a 28V system for the serious professionals. The Bosch 36V is also still around but probably not going to see much development their either.

  • Although many of these videos are rigged, I am inclined to believe Milwaukee batteries need a lot of work done. Milwaukee may be superior in quality. I don't know. I own Milwaukee tools; I own no Dewalt power tools to compare against. However, I only own 18V Milwaukee Tools and batteries. They do tend to run out rather quick, althogh not as quickly exaggerated as portrayed in many of the videos comparing them against Dewalt.

I must say that that's the only drawback of Milwaukee Tools.

  • I have owned and used many types of power tools in my long career as a self employed jobber tradesman but the Dewalt 28v Nano range are the best money can buy. I wouldn't bother using anything else now. The batteries seem to last forever and never seem short of power to get the toughest of jobs done. Simply brilliant.

  • i buy only milwaukee, 5 year warranty theres a reason for that

  • Milwaukee is the best by far

  • I haven't seen the Mikita but they definitely made and improvement on the old version. Also, Dewalt gets a little too much praise in my opinion.
