Do you have advices for me how to put my video´s on youtube without losing quality? When i put my video with the reason file on youtube, i loose quality in the drums. They sound a little softer then the drums on my hard disc. I use megui with nero aac 256 kbs settings, 48.000 hz. do you have settings for me so that i don't loose quality on youtube in my music?
@jamesbernardmusic Look I'm not trying to be rude, all I'm saying is that for tutorials like this its not necessary to see your head. There is no point in showing your head, you might as well just talk behind the computer. That is why I commented please edit your head out in the next video its just not necessary.
Thank you! That just saved me a lot of time and work. These videos might make me try making my next recordings just in Record instead of using Reason for programming and Logic for tracking.
@JohnTooker The more comfortable I become with Record, the more I can see it being my actual tracking and mixing environment. The other day I found myself closing my eyes and listening to the EQ balance instead LOOKING at the EQ balance. I had forgotten that I stopped doing that but it's how I used to mix on consoles and it makes a very different result. Record sounds and feels like a real mixer. Logic's mixer feels like a column of plugins with an attenuator at the bottom (fader).
I like seeing James "head in a window". I connect with the tutorial better and feel that he is talking to me personally.
I find this technique of moving from a 14:2 to Record's mix channels very useful. Many Reason projects start with "create a combinator, add a mixer".
hmm this will make some mess with the mixer's channels if there are many instruments in use. I find that inside the combinator the project is more organized. They should just update the 14/2 mixer with the ssl sound. this would be awesome.

Next time when your doing a video could you please edit your head out. We don't need to see you. Your head bobbling is hard enough to watch as it is. All we want is tutorials not to see your head. Thanks....
@pppeeeppee Yeah don't listen to this. The head in the window is what makes these feel personal and like you're really doing them for us and our benefit. Youtube is too full of faceless tutorials by wannabes talking into their gaming headsets. So don't listen to pppeeppee and keep your Propellerhead in the video! :)
Thanks soo much for this video James I have been trying to do this by myself for a couple weeks but kept not getting it exactly right. Now we have templates awesome!! U guys continue to set the standard in customer appreciation. Keep it up!!
Thank you a lot for your software and your channel . It really helps me to step up my production game with Reason . I am a young 22 years old Producer composer songwritter signed to sony atv Publishing. Tell me what you think of my channel.
Hope i will be a Reason/ Record Official user one day

okay so what if you have a song with other instruments, with this method wouldn't you overwrite the other tracks like bass, keys, etc

No worries guys.. I already know what pppeeeppee is all about and I choose to ignore the "White Noise" that comes from his direction.

@pppeeeppee If you can't handle seeing a human face once in a while then that's probably your problem.
