I was a die hard OC fan when it was on. Me and my girl friends would have OC nights every thursday. Ryan was a "good guy" in a "bad boy's" circumstances. I cried for days when Marissa died, but to me, that wasn't what finished the show. They should never have had Ryan fall in love with Marissa's worst enemy at school. The viewers didn't like Taylor and all of a sudden we were supposed to embrace the "new" Taylor and Ryan falling for her. It was disrespectful to the loyal "ryan/marissa" fans.
the reason mischa left was because josh asked if she could do a scene where marissa leaves to go with her dad or dies, and she chose death cause she wanted to do more than the oc and she couldnt take the offers. but if josh never gave her those decisions, she probably wouldn't even think of it
This is so sad. I was watching this and I was like, if this person doesn't make Marissa's death number one, she's seriously insane! I cried so. freaking. much. The biggest mistake they ever made was killing off Marissa Cooper <3 Actually, no... it was trying to replace Marissa with Taylor!
But I think you should've put Marissa and Ryan's entire break-up, instead of cutting it off after they hung up, because the saddest part is AFTER that - when Marissa starts crying, it's heartbreaking.

I now they killed someone off to bring the ratings up and even though its sad i think its a good idea but i think they shouldve kept marissa because she was the core four and to make it more interesting killed kirsten off...dont get me wrong i absolutly love kirsten but that wouldve made a huge impact on the showbut at the same time wouldnt have killed it.

yeah he told her he got into brown which he didnt but she wouldent go without him, and its a huge oppertunity for summer, so he breaks up with her at the sweatshirt party which was #6 of this, and so she keeps trying to get back with him so the only way he could get her to go to brown by herself and succeed with her education is to tell her that, but he really does love her if he loves her enough to do something like that
because he didnt get into brown and she did.. and he didnt want her to miss out going to a great college so he lied and said he didnt love her anymore

Tbh the o.c ended when marissa died.
I reckon they should of ended it then cus it wunt the same without her they shld of ended it with them all going off to college and then ryan and marissa being together and summer and seth that would of been better

Oh My God!! when i watched the episode with anna leaving, i cried and cried. that was my number one saddest moment. i thought she was a great addition to the show. i miss the oc!!

that`s so horrible. For me, Marissa`s death was the final episode of O.C. R.I.P. Marissa Cooper. Ryan lost her love. They really loved each other, it was so unfair that Marissa died.

yeah he told her he got into brown which he didnt but she wouldent go without him, and its a huge oppertunity for summer, so he breaks up with her at the sweatshirt party which was #6 of this, and so she keeps trying to get back with him so the only way he could get her to go to brown by herself and succeed with her education is to tell her that, but he really does love her if he loves her enough to do something like that

when marissa dying, i wasnt really sad, i was more.. shocked and disappointed. i think sad wise, the 2nd one or season 1 when ryan left. that was more heartbreaking.

yeahs thats why they cancelled. it all the fans of oc were fans of marissa so when she left the ratings dropped to like a 1/4, so they had to cut it so yh basically because of marissa leaving
