i played some matches on ps3 and it was pretty fun, bit confusing though. since not much people play it u can get into a commanding position pretty easily. i just kinda throughs u in there so have no idea whats going on at first but u get used to it. not much people play it though, hard to get into a game on the ps3

In ARMA2 some people take everything too seriously sometimes.

I saw it some months ago for just 10 Euros and I gave it a try. It didn't work ): The part I liked the most was the intro in which they explain you the background of the conflict hahaha. Game is basically a demo, only 4 maps for MP. Extremely buggy, v-bad AI and emensly laggy (and considering it's only 4v4) FAIL. And v-awkward MP lobbys. Could have been amazing but CodeMongsters have dropped all support on this title to make Red River, so they can pinch another 40bucks out of you. If you wanna try this game don't spend more than about £6 on it (eBay) because you might feel like you have just been raped if you do.

Seems like a more polished version of ARMA II, I even think it's got the same publisher.

OFDR seems a more playable version though. ARMA II is a simulator with a much more complex system of game play and with great graphics also but OFDR polished it into a really nice game for shooter fans.

I however prefer ARMA series as I'm more into the ultra realistic combat than a mix between BF+ARMA = ODFR (Great gameplay including the realism)

@doogy98 Yes, 4 vs 4 and you each control your AI squad. Im not huge fan of it, I was hoping for a decent multiplayer but its not, too much AI not enough human brain. The single player is great, most mission are based on time but those who are not are very good. I think you can play the campaign online with 3 friends (this should be fun but I never tested it.) I suggest you rent the game first and take a look at it, its not ment for everybody like MW or BFBC.
